• Grapefruit juice - People taking this medication should not consume grapefruit juice or eat grapefruit to prvent potentially serious side effects. In one controlled study, drinking grapefruit juice while taking amiodarone dramatically increased blood levels of the drug.1
• Vitamin E - The addition of vitamin E with this medication may help to reduce lung toxicity caused by the medication.2
