Dr. Derrick DeSilva: The main cause of death is heart disease and not COVID-19 – Brighteon.TV

A world-renowned doctor and scientist debunked the misconception that the main cause of death all over the world today is the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19). During a recent guesting on Brighteon.TV's "The Dr. Hotze Report," Dr. Derrick DeSilva said heart disease continues to be the number one cause of death in the world.

Host Dr. Steve Hotze agreed and added that COVID-19 stole everybody's attention. "This has taken our eye off the real ball. The real ball is heart disease," Hotze stated. (Related: Every death caused by Covid vaccines will be blamed on "Covid.")

DeSilva, who is also a talk show host, dug deeper into the root cause of heart disease and said it is not cholesterol that mainly causes cardiovascular failure.

"Sixty percent of people that have heart attacks have normal cholesterol. Inflammation is the villain. So treat the underlying cause, which is inflammation, not cholesterol. It was a great sales job that was done about 50-60 years ago, and they're still doing it," DeSilva said.

"If you've got inflammation within the vasculature, within the arteries, the veins, the capillaries, that's where the damage is to the inside of the blood vessel. This is called the glycocalyx, which is a slippery, gel-like layer on top of the endothelium. That is where disease is and that's where inflammation and the problems begin."

According to Hotze and DeSilva, the glycocalyx needs to be protected to avoid inflammation that causes the heart disease.

DeSilva also enumerated the underlying causes of inflammation that brings about heart disease. They are: high initial levels of sugar and exposure to bacterial infections, metallic substances and petrochemicals in the environment.

Cure the root cause of inflammation

To avoid cardiovascular diseases, the root cause of the problem should be addressed.

"There is no question that western medicine has a role. We all know that, but there's also a role in finding the root cause from eastern medicine. I have always believed that we have to use the best of both worlds. That is the transition that I have always gotten into," DeSilva said.

One of the things that the doctors tackled on the show to avoid inflammation is changing eating patterns to address high blood sugar levels.

"We find people that are overweight, whether they have adult-onset diabetes or not, they tend to run high blood sugar because they're eating a high-carbohydrate diet. That is causing the inflammation," DeSilvia said.

He proposed the Mediterranean diet, which includes plant-based foods, such as whole grains, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices.

"It needs to be a balanced diet. For people to say that they are only going to eat eggs and bacon for the next three months, that is ridiculous. That is not the way we are made anthropologically to eat. We need to eat a variety," DeSilva added.

The doctor also advised staying away from metallic and chemical substances like mercury and aluminum. He reminded viewers that people actually cook in aluminum and that dentists, for decades, have been putting mercury amalgams in our teeth.

The best thing to do to chelate heavy metals is take B vitamins. You can get a nice high dose of some B vitamins through intravenous process, he said.

Also, he advised to be very careful when having root canals because every tooth is connected to a meridian within the body. People that have had problems with, for example, back pain and various ailments within the body, are all related and connected to the teeth.

Both Hotze and De Silva also advised taking supplements that could do something to repair the damage that may lead to inflammation. They advised taking Arterosil and Nattokinase.

Arterosil has been specifically proven to regenerate an impaired endothelial glycocalyx, the all-important inner lining of the blood vessels. That's because its primary ingredient is rhamnan sulfate derived from a very rare seaweed, Monostroma nitidum.

Nattokinase, on the other hand, is a potent blood-clot dissolving protein used for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. It is produced by the bacterium Bacillus subtilis during the fermentation of soybeans to produce Natto.
