The author suggested that these UFOs carried human-like aliens from an “etheric” world in a dimension other than our own, moving in and out of this universe while they considered settling on Earth.
According to the author, the aliens did not come from a physical planet but from a world that “interpenetrates with our own but is not perceptible to humans.” This dimension is distinct from the astral plane – a supernatural, out-of-body plane of existence. Instead, this extra dimension corresponds to the Hindu notions of Lokas or Talas, which are alternate realities in Hindu mythology.
The extradimensional beings, according to the author, are human-like but bigger. They automatically materialize upon entering the “vibratory rate of our dense matter” through their disk-shaped flying vehicles. Some of these “flying saucers,” however, were remotely controlled.
Though the aliens likely came in peace and were even considering settling here, the author warned not to antagonize them as their disks were equipped with a type of light ray that can disintegrate any attacking ship.
Moreover, there’s no way to track these aliens. Their bodies and their craft re-enter the etheric at will and disappear from sight without leaving any trace. They also cannot be reached by radio, which is the technology popularly used at the time to detect signs of alien life. The author noted that he didn’t expect anyone at the FBI to believe him. “The mere fact that the data herein were obtained by so-called supernormal means is probably sufficient to insure its disregard by nearly all the persons addressed,” the memorandum read.
“Nevertheless it seems a public duty to make it available,” the file added.
The UFO document corresponds with what is known as the “interdimensional hypothesis.” According to ufologist Jacques Vallée, this theory suggests that UFOs and other related events, such as alien sightings, are visits from beings coming from other “realities” or “dimensions” that coexist with ours. Other proponents, on the other hand, interpret these beings as visitors from another universe.
Meanwhile, the leading alien theory suggests that aliens are advanced spacefaring beings that exist in our universe. However, many ufologists have embraced the interdimensional hypothesis because it does a better job of explaining how aliens could have reached Earth.
For instance, interstellar travel is simply improbable if these aliens travel by conventional means. The distance between stars is too big and there’s really no evidence that anyone in space has made technology that allows a spacefarer to travel at the speed of light.
“[The] UFO phenomenon simply does not behave like extraterrestrial visitors,” said ufologists John Ankerberg and John Weldon.
Under the interdimensional hypothesis, however, it’s not necessary to use any method of propulsion because UFOs are not spacecraft but devices that travel between different realities. Also, these interdimensional UFOs have the ability to materialize and dematerialize, which explains why there’s no apparent record of them on the radar as they shuttled in and out of the planet.
Earlier this year, the Pentagon declassified three UFO videos taken by Navy personnel. One of the videos was made in 2004 while the other two were recorded in 2015. The videos were declassified to clear up any misconceptions about whether they were real, though the aerial phenomena seen in the footage remain unidentified.
