New emails reportedly recovered from a laptop that once belonged to Hunter Biden appear to justify Giuliani’s previous claims.
Last week, the New York Post published back-to-back bombshells based on emails detailing how Hunter and Joe Biden were the faces of the crime family, in Ukraine and China, specifically.
For instance, the paper reported, Hunter Biden sought highly profitable deals with China’s then-largest private energy company, according to emails recovered on the laptop including one that said such a deal would be “interesting for me and my family.”
The paper reported:
One email sent to Biden on May 13, 2017, with the subject line “Expectations,” included details of “remuneration packages” for six people involved in an unspecified business venture.
Biden was identified as “Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC,” an apparent reference to the former Shanghai-based conglomerate CEFC China Energy Co.
His pay was pegged at “850” and the email also noted that “Hunter has some office expectations he will elaborate.”
A “provisional agreement” was also discussed in the email, providing that 80 percent of the “equity” (shares) in the new company would be equally divided among four people whose initials all correspond to the sender of the email and three recipients, with “H” an apparent reference to Hunter Biden.
Included in the deal was “10 Jim” and “10 held by H for the big guy?” — though Jim and ‘the big guy’ were not further identified.
The email’s author was James Gilliar, with the international consulting firm J2cR, and it noted, “I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is [sic] shortfalls ?”
“Zang” is likely a reference to Zang Jian Jun, the former executive director of CEFC China.
That email and, reportedly, thousands of others were part of a trove recovered from a MacBook Pro laptop that had been dropped off for repairs at a computer shop in Delaware (where the Bidens live). The computer was dropped off in April 2019 but was never retrieved. (Related: Twitter lies about Hunter Biden’s laptop, which was rightfully seized under repair policy.)
The computer was eventually seized by the FBI after the bureau was contacted due to contents inside; also, a copy of the hard drive was made and shared with the Post last week by Giuliani.
The hard drive also contained photos of Hunter Biden in various stages, including selfies and a 12-minute 'raunchy' video in which Hunter appears to be smoking crack and engaging in a sex act with an unidentified woman. There are several sexually explicit images on the hard drive, too.
But the business-related connections to China — and to Ukraine — involving Hunter Biden and his then-vice president father, Joe Biden, now running for president, are stunning as well as revealing.
For example, another email chain involving Hunter Biden dated Aug. 2, 2017, involved a deal with CEFC chairman Ye Jianming for half-ownership in a holding company that was to pay Hunter Biden more than $10 million per year.
Ye was taken into custody by Chinese authorities in early 2018 and hasn’t been seen since; the company he ran went bankrupt earlier this year.
Stunningly, however, according to emails, terms were for a three-year ‘consulting’ contract in which Hunter Biden would be paid some $10 million per year “for introductions alone.”
Got that? ‘Introductions’ — but to whom? Well, if we use our imagination, Joe Biden is running for president, has been in Washington for nearly a half-century, was a long-serving U.S. senator and a former vice president with global contacts.
All that might be worth $10 million a year.
More to come…
