But that said, it’s high time the Justice Department started doing its job and investigate — and charge, if necessary — Democrats who continue with impunity to threaten violence against the current administration and Republicans in general.
And the first one the DoJ can start with is that lunatic Sen. Chris Coons from Delaware.
During an interview just before the election with another left-wing lunatic, MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, Coons was teed up by the host when she asked him what Democrats who seek “retribution” against Republicans for what “they’ve done” can do to “even” things up.
If that isn’t literal coup talk, then nothing is. But Coons’ response was telling. And damning. And extremely wrong.
Coons, who earlier declared that Republican lawmaker were walking over a “dangerous precipice” when they confirmed Justice Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court began by hinting that the GOP in the House and Senate would collude to “steal” the election from the mind-addled Joe Biden (this is the same BS they and their mainstream media hack friends were peddling in 2016, compliments of Hillary Clinton, only it was Russia, Russia, Russia…).
The Delaware Democrat then strongly suggested violence against Trump-appointed constitutionalist federal judges.
“Yes, the two Supreme Court seats that have been stolen through these processes that are wildly hypocritical have been used to jam through nominees,” he said.
“Because they’ve seen hundreds of conservative judges put on circuit courts and district courts all over the country over the last four years. In many cases, too young, too unqualified and too far right to be allowed to sit peaceably without our reexamining the process, the results and the consequences,” he said.
‘Too far right to be allowed to sit peaceably?’ How else are we supposed to take that gaslighting other than as a direct threat to those very fine judges (and justices) the president has named?
Did you ever hear a GOP lawmaker claim that Obama’s judges were ‘too far left’ (they were) to sit peaceably on the federal bench?
No, you didn’t. Because none of them have ever said such a thing.
Furthermore, nothing has been “stolen.” That’s inflammatory in and of itself. Each and every time Trump has nominated someone to the federal bench or the U.S. Supreme Court, the GOP-controlled Senate has voted to confirm — the exact same constitutional process that every president before Trump (including Democrats) has used.
There isn’t anything improper, nefarious or illegal about it, and to suggest otherwise is, again, gaslighting for the purposes of igniting passions and anger among the already unhinged Democrat Party base. Coons’ language was specifically aimed at stirring people up, ahead of an election that intelligence operatives predicted would be marred by violence.
It’s disgusting what this pig has said and done. He’s a disgrace and he shouldn’t be allowed to “sit peaceably” in the Senate. He needs to be dragged out by federal marshals and booked on charges of feeding sedition. We all know what his words mean; we all know exactly what he’s saying.
Notes Jonathan Davis at Trending Politics:
"...[T]his plea might be in vain but here it is: We cannot allow Democrats back in power, ever, because this is who they are now.
They’re the party of breaking the rules to obtain power. Of threatening violence against those whom they disagree with. Of seizing control and then changing the game so they lock out all opposition, giving them free rein to become massively authoritarian.
He adds: “You don't ever suggest that a duly appointed federal official at any level not be allowed to ‘sit peaceably’ -- for any reason.”
That’s exactly right. Where is the Justice Department?
