Investigate Mike Bloomberg for “bribery and vote buying,” says Matt Gaetz

Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fl.) is calling on Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody to investigate failed presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg for "potentially engaging in bribery and vote buying in the state of Florida."

In case you missed it, Bloomberg recently contributed $16 million to pay the court fines and fees of nearly 32,000 black and Hispanic felons – aww, what a nice guy! – which, if allowed to persist, will allow these former criminals to vote in the upcoming election.

Under a program organized by the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, Bloomberg's cash is intended to ensure that former prisoners who were otherwise barred from participating in the election due to outstanding legal debts to the state can now pull the lever for Joe Biden, to whom Bloomberg has already contributed at least $100 million in campaign support.

According to a memo cited by Zero Hedge, Bloomberg, a multi-billionaire, believes that investing in these criminals is a better way to ensure a Democrat victory than trying to persuade non-felons to vote for Biden over Donald Trump.

"We have identified a significant vote share that requires a nominal investment," the memo from Bloomberg reportedly reads. "The data shows that in Florida, Black voters are a unique universe unlike any other voting bloc, where the Democratic support rate tends to be 90%-95%."

Bloomberg is also apparently aiming to capture the Cuban felon vote as well, seeing as how non-felon Cubans are the least likely Hispanic group to support Biden, just like they also did not support Hillary Clinton back in 2016.

"Mike wanted to get this done for two reasons," one of the multi-billionaire's advisors reportedly told The Washington Post. "One, because it's the right thing to do for the democracy. And two, because it immediately activates tens of thousands of voters who are predisposed to vote for Joe Biden."

Democrats are now openly buying votes to steal the election from Trump

Back in 2018, Florida voters passed a statewide constitutional amendment that gives former felons, save for those convicted of murder or felony sexual offenses, the opportunity to once again vote in elections. The Republican-dominated legislature, with the support of Florida's Republican governor, later added the caveat that these felons must first pay off all fees, fines and restitution to the state.

This caveat, claim Democrats, has prevented some 775,000 felons who still owe money to the state from voting, something that Bloomberg is hoping to alleviate with his massive cash infusion.

Bloomberg's cash is specifically aimed at non-white felons with black or brown skin, reports indicate, who have debts of less than $1,500. There are said to be 31,790 of them that fall into this category, and 25,548 of these have black skin – this latter number just so happens to roughly be the margin by which Gov. Rick DeSantis won the election back in 2018, and three times the margin that elected Sen. Rick Scott that same year.

Because most Florida voters are believed to have already made up their minds about the November election, Bloomberg, who also wants to shut down all coal power plants, is targeting "only a small margin of voters that are targets for persuasion."

"We know to win Florida we will need to persuade, motivate and add new votes to the Biden column," the Bloomberg memo further explains. "This means we need to explore all avenues for finding the needed votes when so many votes are already determined."

Recognizing that Bloomberg's intent is to buy the votes of black and brown people with his gobs of cash, Gaetz is hoping that his state's AG will take the matter seriously and squelch it before its consequences are allowed to manifest.
