The thinking is, Epstein had to be ‘taken care of’ because he had so much information on rich, powerful men who allegedly engaged in similar sexual misconduct with minors that he would have turned it over to authorities in order to get a reduced sentence.
Now, his ‘madam’ and confidante, British socialite and heiress Ghislaine Maxwell, finds herself in a very similar situation: Is she going to be ‘suicided’ too after her arrest on charges she facilitated at least some of the underage sex for Epstein & Co.?

According to the UK’s Daily Mail, it’s highly likely she has access to a stash of very incriminating videotapes that, were they to ever find their way into the hands of federal investigators, many more powerful people would fall.
And, according to previous reporting, at least one of those rich and power figures could include President Bill Clinton.

Ghislaine Maxwell has a secret stash of Jeffrey Epstein's twisted sex tapes and will use the footage as an insurance policy to save herself, a former friend exclusively revealed to DailyMail.com.
Maxwell, 58, was arrested at her hideout in Bradford, New Hampshire last Thursday. She was charged with six federal crimes, including enticement of minors, sex trafficking and perjury.
The news site adds that authorities found literally thousands of graphic photos including images of underage girls when they raided Epstein’s Manhattan townhouse after he was arrested in July 2019.
In addition, federal agents and police also found a safe that was filled with CDs labeled “nude girls,” officials said.
According to an anonymous former friend of Maxwell, “Ghislaine has always been as cunning as they come. She wasn't going to be with Epstein all those years and not have some insurance.
“The secret stash of sex tapes I believe Ghislaine has squirreled away could end up being her get out of jail card if the authorities are willing to trade. She has copies of everything Epstein had. They could implicate some twisted movers and shakers.”
The anonymous friend added: 'If Ghislaine goes down, she's going to take the whole damn lot of them with her.
“Not only did Epstein like to capture himself with underage girls on camera – he wanted to make sure he had something to hold over the rich and powerful men who took advantage of his sick largesse,” the former friend continued.
“I'll bet anything that once it comes out that Ghislaine has those tapes these men will be quaking in their Italian leather boots. Ghislaine made sure that she socked away thumb drives of it all. She knows where all the bodies are buried and she'll use whatever she has to save her own a**,” the former friend concluded.
Maxwell was transferred to a Brooklyn detention facility earlier this week for an upcoming court appearance.
Separately, the New York Post quoted another friend who said Maxwell had so much on everyone they worried for her safety.
“I’m absolutely worried for her safety,” Christopher Mason, a TV host and journalist who has known Maxwell since the 1980s, told the Post. Do I think [she’s] in danger? Yes.”
“The authorities are open to the possibility of some cooperation,” Mason continued.
“In a way, I can’t imagine her ever giving up Prince Andrew, but if it’s life imprisonment with no hope of parole, it might be tempting. She of all of those people knew who slept with whom and [which young girl] was assigned to whom.”
Mason adds that Epstein had all of his places wired with cameras, and he’s sure Maxwell has access to those videos.
“A lot of powerful people will be more than a little worried. I hope [Maxwell won’t] end up like Epstein. I’m a little worried about that. I think she’s in danger. There is too much power involved if she really talks,” he said.
