That’s why we have to hand it to Brian Stelter, host of the little-watched CNN program “Reliable Sources,” a show that allegedly shines a critical light on media malpractice and bias but conspicuously — and regularly — fails to do so.
Unless, of course, he’s talking about conservative, Independent media. Because his own network, also know as “Russian Collusion Central,” is so reliable, you see.
Anyway, readers will recall on Monday, Project Veritas, a real investigative journalism organization, published a bombshell report exposing Google’s blatant efforts to censor pro-Trump, pro-conservative content from its search platform.
Included in the video report were excerpts from a whistleblower insider who was clear about Google’s intentions when he said, “They’re not an objective source of information. They’re a highly biased political machine that is bent on never letting somebody like Donald Trump to come to power again.” He also noted that Google engineers and speech Nazis use the word “fairness” as a “dog whistle.”
“They have to manipulate their search results so that it gives them the political agenda they want. They have to re-bias their algorithms so they can get their agenda across,” the whistleblower claimed.
The allegations were supported by one of Google’s own executives, Jen Gennai. On camera she stated, “We all got screwed over in 2016, again it wasn’t just us, it was, the people got screwed over, the news media got screwed over, like, everybody got screwed over so we’re rapidly been like, what happened there and how do we prevent it from happening again.”
She added: “We’re also training our algorithms, like, if 2016 happened again, would we have, would the outcome be different?” (Related: Google whistleblower bombshell: Search engine used social justice warriors to train its AI systems to suppress all conservative views.)
Breitbart News noted further:
Gennai also declared that no amount of soft pressure from Congress or the White House will make Google change its ways. In other words, talk won’t help — if politicians want to change Google’s behavior, they’ll have to go beyond committee hearings and actually change the law.
Pretty damning stuff. In fact, these admissions were so damning that Google censored the Project Veritas video from its YouTube platform.
Enter Brian Stelter, Mr. “Reliable Sources.”
He actually tweeted this week: “awatching [sic] fox [sic], seeing the talk shows promote project veritas. i googled for a reliable news account about what’s going on… and…can’t really find one.”
He ‘Googled it.’ To find the dirt on Google. After Google obviously censored the reporting and the Project Veritas video.
Here’s the thing, as NewsTarget reported: Even if Google hadn’t censored the video and the subsequent reporting on the scandal (most all of which has been done by independent media like us), Stelter still wouldn’t have found a (mainstream) source he ‘trusts’ because none of those outlets have touched the story.
Why? Bias, of course. Like Google, they, too, are staffed (stuffed?) with Left-wing sycophantic supporters of the Democrat Party who also don’t want POTUS Trump reelected and will do anything (like Google) to ensure that he’s not.
Including ignoring bombshell stories about social media election meddling, which, when you think about it, is self-censorship.
“Well, that settles that. If Stelter, the host of ‘Reliable Sources’ on CNN, could not find any reliable information on Project Veritas using the very tool that is censoring Project Veritas, then there must be nothing to see here!” Notes Big League Politics’ Peter D’Abrosca.
Google is involved in outright election meddling on a scale that Russia could only dream of. Experts have said that between Google, Facebook, and Twitter alone, some 15 million votes could be changed in 2020.
Where’s the Federal Election Commission? Where is the Justice Department?
