(NaturalNews) The mouthpiece of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Thomas Frieden, thinks Americans should calm down about the whole Ebola outbreak and just trust the government. In the event of more Ebola cases, he recently stated, the CDC is now considering simply shipping patients off to one of the four facilities in the U.S. equipped with Ebola-ready isolation units.

Except that these four units have a combined total of just 19 available beds suited for Ebola patients -- this is out of 5,700 total hospitals in the U.S. with hundreds of thousands of conventional beds. Frieden's announcement was reported by The Washington Post, which regarded it as a solution to the problem of more Ebola cases arriving on American soil.

Three of the hospitals -- the National Institutes of Health (NIH) hospital in Bethesda, Maryland; Emory University Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia; and the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha -- have all previously treated confirmed and suspected cases of Ebola. Only St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula, Montana, has yet to see an Ebola patient.

"We have to rethink how we address infection control, because even a single infection is unacceptable," stated Frieden the hypocrite, who just days prior expressed opposition to shuttering travel to and from West Africa because, in his mind, containing the outbreak there will somehow place us all at increased risk.

This nonsensical and obviously lying bureaucrat also told the media that Americans shouldn't worry because new screening protocols are being introduced at five major U.S. airports to catch up to 95 percent of all potential Ebola cases. Somehow, a single infection, or perhaps several hundred in this other 5 percent, is acceptable to Frieden -- or at least it was last week when he insisted that there would never be an Ebola outbreak in the U.S.

Frieden fails to tell public that US only has a few beds for Ebola patients

During his latest propaganda soundbite, Frieden failed to mention anything about how the four hospitals he plans to send U.S. Ebola patients to only have a combined total of 19 beds. The Nebraska Medical Center has the most beds, 10, while the others only have three each, which is hardly enough to handle a full-scale, nationwide epidemic.

"I think we just found out why the government(s) are underplaying the situation," wrote Liz Bennett for Underground Medic. "They simply do not have the facilities to cope with even a small outbreak. They are, in fact in exactly the same position as the dirt-poor hospitals in West Africa... there are not enough facilities to stop the spread of the disease if it gets out."

What this means is that, just like in West Africa, an Ebola outbreak in the U.S. will quickly overwhelm the existing healthcare infrastructure and send countless Ebola cases back into the communities to infect others. So while American soldiers busy themselves with the construction of containment units in Liberia, America remains on a crash course toward a full-scale Ebola meltdown.

"Our government failed to protect the citizenry from the outbreak of this dangerous, deadly, contagious [disease] by suspending air travel to and from suspected areas or securing our southern border," wrote Suzanne Hamner for Freedom Outpost. "At a time when communities deserve truth instead of over-confidence, our government has insured over-confidence is to be the face of the health care community."
