In particular, she's fond of her red berry juice, explaining that after it's made, she pours it into a large water jug or container and brings it to work. "I work 12-hour days, so I can take this with me and it lasts all day," she says of the convenience factor that blending brings to her life.
Her red berry juice is made by filling a blender half way with water. She then adds come ice. Next comes a variety of fruits and vegetables, beginning with spinach leaves, blackberries and her favorite, cranberries. Cranberries are known to have anti-inflammatory and cardiovascular benefits, and also play a role in healing urinary tract infection (UTIs). The nutritious mixture doesn't stop there. Erica continues to add raspberries, and then tops it off with mango chunks and agave nectar. Finally, add some more water and blend on high until everything is mixed together.
