A disturbing new proposal from consultants paid by Merck and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is calling for HPV vaccines to be administered to children as young as 12 to 24 months—an age group in which the vaccine has never been tested and for which absolutely no safety data exist.
In an opinion piece published in Clinical Infectious Diseases—an official journal of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA)—ark Kane and Eduardo Franco laid out their campaign to extend Gardasil vaccination to toddlers. What they failed to disclose fully is the web of financial entanglements that makes their "recommendation" little more than a Merck marketing strategy dressed up as science.
Merck is a "Silver" level industry partner with IDSA, donating tens of thousands of dollars annually to the IDSA foundation. But the conflicts don't end there.
In the conflict-of-interest statement, Franco disclosed he is a vaccine consultant who also holds a patent on a cervical cancer test. Kane reported no conflicts of interest—an omission that conveniently ignores his role as former director of the Gates Foundation's Children's Vaccine Program, his work at the Gates-affiliated PATH organization, his consulting work for Merck and his seat on the Merck Global Advisory Board for HPV.
"The conflicts are so thick it's impossible to tell if this is a serious immunization policy suggestion, or a fact-pattern of Merck publishing Merck recommendations to use more Merck products," said Karl Jablonowski, Ph.D., senior research scientist for Children's Health Defense.
Trials in children ages 4-8 already underway
While the op-ed pushes for vaccination of toddlers, Merck is already funding and running clinical trials for Gardasil on children ages 4 to 8 at Boston Medical Center. The trials involve 150 children who receive two doses of Gardasil over 12 months.
Recruitment ads for the study highlight that participation is compensated. Parents receive $400 in "study cards" for enrolling their children.
The Boston Medical Center Health System primarily targets "historically underserved," typically low-income, communities. Critics have raised serious concerns that the trial targets low-income families, doesn't include an unvaccinated control group, and fails to investigate vaccine safety in any meaningful way.
The trial monitors only one side effect—injection-site swelling—observed on a single day, three days after injection. Because children so young have no exposure to HPV, the trial isn't even measuring whether the vaccine prevents infection. It only determines if the children produce antibodies to the HPV strains covered by the vaccine.
Lucija Tomljenovic, Ph.D., author of more than a dozen peer-reviewed papers on the HPV vaccine, called the Boston Medical Center trial "completely useless for any meaningful evaluation of HPV vaccine safety."
The real agenda: Population-level metrics, not individual health
The push to vaccinate younger children comes as Gardasil sales have been in freefall – down 40% globally between 2024 and 2025, driven in part by a collapse in demand in China, then down another 22% in the first quarter of 2026.
At the same time, an international campaign funded largely by the Gates Foundation is underway to vaccinate 86 million girls in low- and middle-income countries against HPV. The American Academy of Pediatrics, which since 2023 has recommended Gardasil for 9-year-olds, has acknowledged that earlier administration provides no direct benefit to individual children.
The rationale for starting younger is that it increases overall vaccine uptake – a population-level metric, not a medical one. In other words, children as young as 12 months are being used as pawns in a globalist depopulation and pharmaceutical profit scheme, with no regard for their safety or well-being.

Parents must wake up to the truth
The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program has paid out over $70 million to people making claims regarding Gardasil. The FDA had received more adverse reaction reports related to Gardasil than any other vaccine in history—until the COVID-19 vaccine came along.
Merck's Gardasil vaccine is designed to protect against human papillomavirus, a sexually transmitted disease. Yet the company and its paid consultants want to inject this untested, dangerous substance into infants and toddlers who have no possible exposure to the virus.
This is not medicine. This is not science. This is a coordinated attack on the health and sovereignty of our children, driven by greed and a globalist agenda to sicken and depopulate.
