Trump sounds alarm on Biden’s open borders: Thousands of terrorists and murderers in U.S.
01/30/2025 // Cassie B. // Views

  • President Trump claims Biden’s open borders policies have allowed thousands of terrorists and murderers into the U.S., vowing to reverse these policies.
  • Trump accuses foreign nations, like Venezuela, of exporting criminals, citing a 78% drop in Venezuela’s crime rate.
  • He designated Mexican drug cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, enabling stricter measures to combat their influence in U.S. cities.
  • Illegal immigration has surged, with non-Mexican unauthorized immigrants rising from 5.8 million to 6.9 million since 2019.
  • Experts warn Trump’s policies could strain U.S.-Mexico relations and provoke cartels to adopt more violent tactics.

President Donald Trump has claimed that thousands of terrorists and murderers are now living freely in the United States as a direct result of former President Joe Biden’s “open borders” policies. Speaking in his first interview after returning to the White House as the 47th president, Trump vowed to reverse Biden’s immigration agenda and crack down on the surge of crime he attributes to lax border security.

“We have terrorists in our country by the thousands; we have murderers in our country by the tens of thousands … we’re going to take care of it,” Trump declared on Wednesday. He accused foreign nations of “emptying jails” into the U.S., citing Venezuela as an example where he claimed the crime rate dropped by 78% due to the mass export of criminals. While independent data shows Venezuela’s crime rate has only fallen by 25.1%, Trump’s remarks underscore his broader critique of Biden’s handling of the southern border.

The president also took aim at Mexican drug cartels, designating them as foreign terrorist organizations. This move, he argued, is necessary to combat the growing influence of these groups, which he says are fueling crime in American cities like Los Angeles and Denver.

Biden’s border policies under fire

Trump’s comments come as illegal immigration continues to rise. According to a 2022 Pew Research Center survey, the number of unauthorized immigrants from countries other than Mexico has surged from 5.8 million to 6.9 million since 2019. El Salvador, India, Guatemala, and Honduras are among the top contributors to this increase. While the share of Mexican immigrants has dropped to its lowest level since the 1990s, the overall trend paints a troubling picture of a border in crisis.

Trump’s executive orders aim to address this by reinforcing the southern border and ending automatic birthright citizenship. These measures, he argues, are essential to restoring order and protecting American citizens from the dangers posed by unchecked immigration.

By designating Mexican cartels as foreign terrorist organizations, Trump has unlocked new tools to combat these criminal networks. This designation allows the U.S. government to pursue individuals suspected of providing “material support” to cartels, similar to how it has targeted ISIS and other terrorist groups. It also enables the use of military intelligence and surveillance to dismantle these organizations.

However, experts warn that this approach carries risks. María Calderón of the Wilson Center’s Mexico Institute cautioned that such designations could strain U.S.-Mexico relations and provoke cartels to adopt more brutal tactics.

Despite these warnings, Trump remains steadfast in his commitment to securing the border. “Could happen. Stranger things have happened,” he said when asked about the possibility of deploying U.S. special operations forces to Mexico to target cartels.

Trump’s warnings and policy proposals highlight a growing divide over immigration and border security. While critics argue that his measures could escalate tensions and harm international relations, supporters see them as necessary steps to protect American lives and restore law and order.

With thousands of unauthorized immigrants entering the country each year and cartels expanding their reach, the need for decisive action has never been more urgent. Whether Trump’s approach will succeed remains to be seen, but his message is unmistakable: the time to secure the border is now.

Globalist controlled corporate media shows image after image that ALL the border-crossers are simply mothers with children and happy go-lucky Bob Ross-esq smiling men. According to their subliminal messaging, no way could there be any US intelligence ran baddies who crossed the border as well.
