However, the video in question is not an earnest attempt to misrepresent the Vice President, but a clear parody. It features ‘Kamala’ thanking Joe Biden for having “exposed his senility” at his debate with Donald Trump, making way for her to replace the 81-year-old as the Democrats’ presumptive nominee.
“I was selected because I am the ultimate diversity hire… if you criticize anything I say, you’re both sexist and racist,” the voiceover continues.
“I may not know the first thing about running the country, but remember, that’s a good thing if you’re a Deep State puppet,” it goes on, with ‘Kamala’ saying Biden mentored her in hiding her incompetence. Some genuine clips of Harris are mixed in, such as her 2022 claim that the United States has “an alliance with the Republic of North Korea,” but for the most part it is composed entirely of voice lines that are clearly not genuine.
The X (formerly Twitter) user who originally uploaded the video also labels it with the caption “Kamala Harris Campaign Ad PARODY,” making it impossible for any good-faith observer to believe the AI voiceover was being presented as genuine commentary from the Vice President
