The new National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is massive in the amount of money it spends, but what's worse is that a sizeable portion of the spending is going towards turning the force into a "woke" shell of itself, far removed from what it was when The Greatest Generation won World War II.
One provision of the NDAA calls for "PLAN FOR DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT OF THE GENDER ADVISOR WORKFORCE" under Section 539J in what is a blatant attempt to turn both the civilian defense support sector, and as much of the military side as possible, into a nightmare of LGBTQ madness.
(a) Plan Required.--The Secretary of Defense shall develop and implement a plan to institutionalize the gender advisor workforce of the Department of Defense responsible for supporting the implementation of the Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017 (Public Law 115-68; 131 Stat. 1202). (b) Elements.--The plan under subsection (a) shall include:
(1) Plans for the development and management of the gender advisor workforce, including plans for the training, certification, assignments, and career development of the personnel of such workforce. (2) The actions the Secretary of Defense will carry out to elevate, develop, define, and standardize the gender advisor workforce in accordance with recommendation 3.4(a) of the report of the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military titled ``Hard Truths and the Duty to Change: Recommendations from the Independent Review Commission on Sexual Assault in the Military'' and dated July 2, 2021. (3) Development of or modifications to guidance, policy, professional military education, and doctrine to define and standardize the gender advisor program with a focus on incorporating the principles outlined in the plan of the Department of Defense titled ``Women, Peace, and Security Strategic Framework and Implementation Plan'' and dated June 2020, or any successor plan. (4) Identification of training and education requirements for members of the Armed Forces and civilian employees of the Department of Defense, including general and flag officers and members of the senior executive service, on the role of the gender advisor workforce and the principles outlined in plan referred to in paragraph (3), or any successor plan.
This insanity comes at a time when Russia is building hypersonic missiles that can defeat all current U.S. missile defenses -- ditto for China. Also, Beijing is building a new drone swarm network for space that can be launched from 'motherships' and are controlled by artificial intelligence with the objective of disrupting or destroying 'enemy' satellites.
Others have begun to notice how 'woke' the Pentagon is becoming under the far-left policies of Barack Obama, who is really running Biden's administration.
"246 years after the U.S. Army was established, today’s Department of Defense appears to be distracted from its national defense mission. Media commentators and service members alike have lamented the military’s drift toward becoming a testing ground for social policy experimentation," Mike Berry, general counsel at First Liberty Institute and a former active duty U.S. Marine Corps officer, wrote recently.
He added: "As perhaps the only conservative participant on the Pentagon’s newly formed Countering Extremism Working Group, I can confirm the Pentagon’s full embrace of 'wokeism.'"
Mind you, 'extremism' wasn't a problem in the U.S. military prior to Joe Biden's 'victory.' But suddenly, not only is the military 'rife' with such members, the Pentagon is spending precious tax dollars not on building a better missile defense but on an "Office of Countering Extremism" and, of course, transgender priorities.
This is worse than madness, this is completely intentional: The Biden regime is trying to rid the conservative-leaning, patriotic members of today's military (a.k.a. "extremists") and replace them with propagandized left-wing drones who will crush political dissent on behalf of the regime.
