State Sen. Brian Hughes (R-Texas) and other state legislators are collaborating with Texas Governor Greg Abbott to write a bill that would prevent the BTO from censoring/banning/blacklisting people based on their opinions and political viewpoints. Now that everybody is virtually trapped (pun intended) at home or work, nobody is going out to public venues, town centers, spoken word or 'open mic night' at the coffee shops to debate and discuss what's going on all around us.
Vigorous open dialogue is very important for the social framework and healthy competition of opinions and ideas. Is it illegal to talk about politics now if you oppose the official narrative? Are we already living in Communist China? Senator Hughes describes Big Tech as an oligarchy – a "small group of people in San Francisco who want to control everyone's speech."
The narrative in 2016 was that Trump somehow got tens of millions of Russian 'bots' to speak highly of him on social media while vilifying Hillary Clinton. That turned out to be a huge conspiracy theory by the Left, yet this election, all of social media, including Instagram, Google and YouTube, was 100 percent controlled, censored and manipulated by the Left against Trump. So, you were saying? Yet, how can anyone hold the tech giants accountable, when Facebook and Twitter were all but high school reminiscing billboards and celebrity gossip posts for more than a dozen years? How can anyone even take Fakebook seriously, much less sue them because they supported a communist candidate for president of the free world?
If you live in Texas, you may have your fingers crossed that the newly proposed bill, if passed, will allow citizens to sue social media giants if they're censored or de-platformed. Then again, we get into the fake rules of fake news on fake fronts that steal your identity, brainwash your children, sell you porn and toxic thoughts, then swear to Congress they've done nothing wrong.
Free speech is dead folks. It died and was cremated a long time ago, and the ashes just got spread out in the ocean when Trump lost. Meanwhile Florida lawmakers are trying to set up for fair elections via social media, knowing a federal 'solution' will never come. That's too little too late also, since the Communist Chinese made about 40 million fake ballots for Biden, and snuck them by trucks into every swing state after midnight on election night. You think that won't happen again and again? Why do you think Pelosi keeps winning? She doesn't. She owns massive shares of Dominion voting machines.
Anyway, that won't stop the Florida legislature from trying to penalize the Big Tech Oligarchy during the next election. The plan is to fine BTO $100,000 every day any candidate is discriminated against on Fakebook or TwittyTweet. Then Florida plans to slap them with their state's "Unfair and Deceptive Trade Practices Act" if they violate the $100K fine too many times (that's like pennies to George Soros, Mark Zuckerberg and Lucifer himself, Jack Dorsey).
The Governor of Florida, Ron DeSantis, is on the record as saying, “Floridians should have the privacy of their data and personal information protected, their ability to access and participate in online platforms protected, and their ability to participate in elections free from interference from Big Tech protected.” Sounds great Ron, but most news in America has been fake and manipulated since Vietnam, so good luck fixing it now.
