Waukesha, Wisconsin, police say at least 23 people were injured after a red SUV ran through the city’s Christmas parade, plowing into many people, including small children.
Authorities said 11 adults and 12 pediatric patients were transported to six area hospitals. Their conditions are not clear; they said some people died, but they did not have a number of deaths.
Local residents reported many people lying on the ground, injured or dead. A law enforcement source said one of two suspects are in custody; another is being sought.
A woman wrote Heavy, “(A relative) lives in Waukesha, a black guy with dreads knocked on her door shortly after the incident at the parade. She wouldn’t let him in and he proceeded to go across the street trying to break into a building. My daughter called 911 with a description and they said they think he was driving the SUV that drove into all the people.”
Eyewitness — ‘It was a black guy with dreadlocks.’
One witness told WISN that the driver hit the “Dancing Grannies,” where at least “one person flipped over the hood of the SUV.” The driver kept plowing and did not stop. One witnessed estimated that the vehicle was traveling at 40 mph.
At least two people have been reported dead while several others are reported injured, some critically. Police fired shots at the red SUV and there have also been unconfirmed reports of shots being fired from the vehicle. It is unknown whether the reported shots were separate from those fired by police.
One eyewitness told Fox News that he saw at least 30 people on the ground following the attack, according to Sam Kraemer of Fox 6. Another said the vehicle drove through a dance team of girls aged 9 through 15. At least 16 children have been admitted into the Emergency Department in Waukesha, according to Raheem Kassam of the National Pulse.
'Poor White People': Leftists React to Deadly Ramming Attack At Christmas Parade in Waukesha
Leftists on Twitter reacted to the deadly attack on a Christmas parade in Waukesha on Sunday night by mocking the "poor white people" who were hit, blaming "white supremacy" and claiming the driver was acting in "self-defense" à la Kyle Rittenhouse.
Over 20 injuries have been reported at a Christmas parade in Waukesha, WI, after an SUV plowed through police barricades and ran down parade-goers. Screams and gunfire were heard at the scene.

Molly Beck of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported about Waukesha School Board member Corey Montiho, who said his daughter’s dance team was part of the crowd hit by the red Ford Escape SUV.
“They were pom-poms and shoes and spilled hot chocolate everywhere. I had to go from one crumpled body to the other to find my daughter. My wife and two daughters were almost hit.”
We pray for all those harmed or traumatized in this horrific act of mass homicide, and we condemn those on the radical Left who are mocking the victims for being White.
