A YouGov poll found that most Britons support "mandatory" masks while shopping and riding public transport, while 70 percent say they would not feel "safe" in a crowded or enclosed space unless everyone present was covering their faces.
Despite the fact that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is on the verge of lifting all Fauci Flu restrictions, joining most other countries that have already done the same, the average Briton wants to keep the fearmongering going into perpetuity.
A whopping 71 percent of those asked say they believe that "face masks should continue to be mandatory on public transport for a further period of time," while only 21 percent disagree with this statement.
Two-thirds, or roughly 66 percent, say they believe that masks should be mandatory while indoors, at least for the foreseeable future, and a combined 70 percent say that unless a space is well-ventilated and uncrowded, they would not feel safe having faces exposed.
Based on political persuasion, the situation is much the same in the U.K. as it is here in the U.S., with most of those living in fear and supportive of mask mandates being on the "left" side of the spectrum.
Still, a majority on both sides in the U.K. say they would prefer that masks stay for now, with no set deadline as to when Brits can once again show their faces without a Fauci veil.
"The breakdown was similar for support for wearing masks in shops – Labour: 74 per cent; Conservatives: 61 per cent; Liberal Democrats: 77 per cent – with majorities of Leavers (60 per cent) and Remainers (78 per cent) also backing the hypothetical question," reports Breitbart News.
"Seventy-four per cent of Labour, 68 per cent of Conservative, and 83 per cent of Lib Dem voters said they would feel unsafe in enclosed spaces if others weren't wearing masks, as did 81 per cent of Remainers (those who support the U.K. remaining in the European Union) and 65 per cent of Leavers (those who support Brexit)."
PM Johnson is set to announce a lifting of the U.K.'s mask mandate on July 19, even as paranoid Brits and some in the medical industry insist that masks should remain part of the human face forever.
A powerful trade union known as Unite is calling for masks to remain mandatory on public transportation, and the cheap budget air carrier RyanAir has indicated that masks will remain mandatory on all flights.
Conservative MP Sir Desmond Swayne, meanwhile, is horrified at how easily Britons have agreed to give up their freedoms and liberties, all in the name of "flattening the curve" and staying "safe" against a virus.
The "enthusiasm with which people have embraced the diminution of their civil liberties and their ordinary lives," Swayne lamented, is simply "unnerving."
Conservative Party leader Sir Iain Duncan Smith last month stated that Britons were "worried and frightened" into accepting the government-imposed lockdowns due to "incorrect" information about the plandemic that was spread by corrupt scientists and politicians.
Smith's comments came after another poll found that 72 percent of Britons supported postponing the regaining of their freedoms in order to feel safer and more protected against the Chinese Virus.
"This is the cultural shift the left has been working towards for decades," warned one commenter at Breitbart News about how this was all planned long ago.
