And in ‘earning’ that honor, he will also become the biggest national security threat we’ve ever had as well because he’s compromised 70 ways to Sunday by our biggest adversary.
According to Fox News, recently uncovered emails reveal that former business associates of Hunter Biden were trying to get him to get his father involved in a business deal with a Chinese conglomerate, CEFC, a massive energy company.
And they weren’t even secretive about it.
Hunter Biden's former business associates were hinting at a push to "get Joe involved" in a joint venture with Chinese Energy Company CEFC and make the venture appear as a "truly family business" to the Chinese, according to text messages obtained and reviewed by Fox News.
In text messages dating back to 2017, Hunter's now-ex-associates James Gilliar and Tony Bobulinski discussed a breakdown of the joint venture with CEFC, the "stakes" and appeared to hint at discussions about getting the now-president-elect involved.
In some back-and-forth regarding the terms of the deal, Gilliar noted in a May 11, 2017 text message to Bobulinski, “Man U are right let's get the company set up, then tell H and family the high stakes and get Joe involved.”
It wasn’t clear, however, how the group — including Gilliar, Bobulinski, Hunter Biden, Jim Biden, and Rob Walker — were planning on getting Joe Biden involved.
Oh, and of course, you recall how Daddy Joe has repeatedly said he had no idea what his son was doing regarding his business deals.
Right.
In another email exchange, Bobulinski wrote in a message to Gilliar April 20, 2017, “what is the deal w Jim Biden as he wasn’t part of the discussion but now seems a focal point.”
Replied Gilliar: “With H demons, could be good to have a back up, he strengthens our USP to Chinese as it looks like a truly family business, and I like the dude.”
Generally in business dealings, “USP” stands for “unique selling proposition” or “unique selling point,” Fox News reported, adding that one source said it could also mean “U.S. persons.”
But think: Does “he strengthens our U.S. persons to Chinese” make any sense?
Of course not.
Just days earlier during a conversation involving a meeting that included what seems to have been high-level executives at CEFC including the chairman — scheduled for Sunday, May 7, 2017 — Gilliar then asked Bobulinski to think of an “a lister to meet chairman Sunday.” (Related: The Joe Biden transition team is compromised by Chinese elites who have already taken advantage of Hunter Biden’s White House connections.)
“Ok. A ‘lister?’” He responded May 4, 2017.
“And empowers the B family so therefor us,” Gilliar responded, referencing the Bidens.
Then, on the following day, Gilliar asked Bobulinski via text, “Think Joe may come Sunday. I’m hoping.”
“Yah I told Jim [Biden] that’s a no brainer if he can make it he should be there,” Bobulinski replied the following day, May 5.
“Agreed,” Gilliar replied.
That said, a source told Fox News that Joe Biden did not actually attend the meeting — but it ought to be clear what the intent was, which was to use his influence and contacts to close the deal.
In another exchange May 18, 2017 between the two men, Bobulinski expressed “concerns” regarding the structure of the deal.
“H brought in Jim simply to leverage getting more equity for himself and family in the final hour, that is evident," Bobulinski texted. "I know why the [sic] wants the deal and what makes it enormous, it’s the family name in reality, they could have asked for 51 per cent, maybe u would not be interested but many US moguls would have been.”
So, how was the deal to be structured?
A proposed equity split referenced "20" for “H”[Hunter] and "10 held by H for the big guy?" with no additional details.
However, Bobulinski has repeatedly said "the big guy" was Joe Biden.
