As reported by the UK’s Telegraph, at least one Asian “grooming gang,” which is just a fancy term for rape, was permitted to continue roaming the streets of London to terrorize young females after British cops were told to “find other ethnicities” to investigate.
Seems like law enforcement in the ‘international city’ of London is subjective based on skin color, tone, and country of origin. Way to go, Mayor Sadiq Khan.
This process of looking the other way has long since gotten out of hand and has even turned deadly, the paper said:
At least 57 young girls are thought to have been exploited by a pedophile network of around 100 suspected perpetrators based in south Manchester in the 2000s. The gang, mainly comprised of Asian men, hooked their victims on drugs, groomed, and sexually abused them. One girl, aged 15, died after being injected with heroin by a 50-year-old man.
After a two-year investigation that was requested by Greater Manchester Mayor Andy Burnham into the failings of social workers and police to protect and defend the victims, a report found that girls were victimized in “plain sight.”
In addition, the report noted further the epic failing of police and other authorities charged with enforcing the law and protecting the public from such stalking animals, citing fears over hurting someone’s feelings because of their Asian ethnicity.
The report said that police officers knew about “many sensitive community issues” when it came to patrolling south Manchester in 2002 and 2003.
High-ranking police officials told investigators that concerns over creating additional ethnic tensions in the community did not influence patrol decisions, however, the impact nevertheless “clearly had to be considered” by senior authorities, the report noted.
Investigators also quoted an unnamed detective constable who was involved in arresting and jailing one child sex offender not of Asian ethnicity.
“What had a massive input was the offending target group were predominantly Asian males and we were told to try and get other ethnicities,” the detective was quoted in the report as saying.
This sounds a lot like the rising number of Left-wing prosecutors in major cities throughout the United States, aided and assisted with money from chaos-breeding billionaires like George Soros, who purposely ignore crimes committed by minorities, all under the phony guise of “criminal justice reform.”
It’s not ‘reform’ to let people who are guilty of serious crimes like child rape off the hook; such acts are criminal in and of themselves.
The Telegraph noted further that Operation Augusta, which was launched in 2004, managed to uncover systemic exploitation of children who were already in the public healthcare system in Manchester and around the Rochdale area. But clearly, the report — written by child protection specialist Malcolm Newsam CBE and former senior police officer Gary Ridgway — is damning in that it cites examples of how cops were forced to look the other way in order to avoid offending a certain ethnic group.
Such negligence eventually led to the death of 15-year-old Victoria Agoglia, who was overdosed on heroin by a 50-year-old man after she was abused, sexually, for years. She died in 2003, the investigators found.
Maggie Oliver, a former police detective-turned-whistleblower, said she felt “vindicated” by the report after investigating scores of related rapes and murders over the years.
“Girls were lost to the wind. What has been the cost of all these lives? We will never be able to put a number on how many lives have been lost,” she said, as the Telegraph reported, adding that laws need to be changed.
