Many people already frequently use saltwater gargles to fight infections in the mouth, so it should come as no surprise that it can do wonders for your oral health. Simply mix together one tablespoon of salt with 16 ounces of lukewarm water. Allow the saltwater to cool for a bit before using it as a mouthwash. Gargle the saltwater and swish it around your mouth to help remove infection and stimulate your lymph nodes. Its absorbent qualities allow it to help remove any buildup of harmful microbes and toxins from the hard-to-reach areas in your mouth. Activated charcoal is especially useful for drawing out toxins from aching or abscessed teeth. All you have to do is to mix the activated charcoal with some water to create a damp poultice. Apply the poultice to the affected area and let it sit there for at least five minutes.
This essential oil possesses natural antibiotic and anti-inflammatory properties. Like most essential oils, tea tree oil is very potent and should be used with great caution when used orally or topically. To create a natural toothache remedy, simply add one or two drops of the oil into a glass of slightly warm water. Mix the solution and gargle it. Because of this, this spice has a long history of being used as a natural remedy for a number of ailments. It has even been referred to as a "miracle herb." To treat your aching tooth, create a thick paste by mixing together one teaspoon of turmeric powder and some water. You can then apply this paste to the affected area.
