As seen in a newly released video, the first of many to come according to O’Keefe, there is conclusive evidence that the so-called “Deep State” is real and many of its operatives are anti-Trump actors working diligently to thwart his ‘America First’ agenda.
Worse, some Deep State operatives are members of Left-wing political organizations whose objectives are to subvert the U.S. Constitution and replace our form of government with something completely foreign to our nation’s founding:
Today, Project Veritas released the first installment in an undercover video investigation series unmasking the deep state. This video features a State Department employee, Stuart Karaffa, engaged in radical socialist political activity on the taxpayer’s dime, while advocating for resistance to official government policies. In addition to being a State Department employee Stuart Karaffa is also a ranking member of the Metro DC Democratic Socialists of America.
Specifically, Karaffa belongs to “Metro DC DSA,” which seeks to advance Marxist ideology – ironically, in the nation’s capital.
Notes Project Veritas: “Mr. Karaffa’s loyalties seem to be with DSA, not with his employer,” which is, of course, the American taxpayer, via a U.S. government position.
Karaffa told the group’s undercover journalist that while on duty he is more of an activist for the DSA than he is a government employee, actively scheming against the Trump State Department’s initiatives and objectives. He even said he drafts DSA communiques while on the taxpayer’s dime.
“…I’m careful about it. I don’t leave a paper trail, like I leave emails, and like press s**t that comes up I leave that until after 5:30” in the afternoon, he is heard saying. “But as soon as 5:31 hits, got my, like, draft messages ready to send out.” (Related: Deep state criminals and traitors to all be OUTED as President Trump approves wide-ranging release of FISA documents, FBI texts and more.)
He also admitted that he monitors political activity in Virginia from his State Department office.
“You could put two and two together probably. With, like, web traffic… So, with web traffic, I mean I could make the case before a court of law that- I’m going to the Virginia sort of, campaign finance website- that I’m just interested in what people are doing politically,” he said.
“But if they also go and look at like DSA minutes and like Officer positions they’ll be like, ‘that’s weird, you were the co-chair of the electoral caucus, and you spent three hours on a Virginia campaign finance website.'”
What’s more, Karaffa told the undercover journalist he doesn’t think he’ll ever get caught and punished by anyone.
And here’s one of the big reasons why federal employment statutes have to be changed: He says even if he is caught, he doesn’t think he’ll become jobless.
“I have nothing to lose. It’s impossible to fire federal employees,” he cavalierly states, adding that “nobody knows” about his DSA activism on the job anyway.
But it’s not as if upper management at the State Department shouldn’t know. He said that some government employees are required to submit regular disclosure forms so that management can identify potential areas where there could be conflicts of interest (like shilling for a Marxist political organization). Despite the fact that he lists his activities and position with the DSA on his financial disclosure forms, “somebody just rubber stamps [the form] and it goes forward. … I don’t know if [the ethics officer] is all there. He’s so checked out,” Karaffa said, meaning he’s just putting in his time.
As for the Trump administration’s foreign policy objectives, Karaffa’s activism takes precedence and he is anything but an impartial State Department employee.
“Resist everything… Every level. F**k sh*t up,” he said at one point.
More to come, says O’Keefe.
