Health Ranger releases 70's-style pop song and music video: 'Just Want You to Know My Name' featuring Will Pollard and Vanadia Badillo

Just Want You to Know My Name

(NaturalNews) I've just released a new song and music video entitled, "Just Want You to Know My Name," featuring Will Pollard and Vanadia Badillo (two models from the Austin area).

The song is a 70's/80's style pop song created in the style of Kool & the Gang and mastered with rich vocal harmonies and romantic comedy lyrics. I wrote and performed all the lyrics, while the core music was created by brilliant composer Mike Brassell who licenses many of his pieces to Prolific Arts.

You can also download the MP3 file and read the lyrics here.

Models Will Pollard and Vanadia Badillo took part in the filming of the video, which took place in Austin, Texas and was organized by Action Figure studios. Most of the footage was filmed in Zilker Park.

Thirteen music videos and counting!

The song is my thirteenth publicly-released music video and the first that explores a 70's-style music mix with a romantic comedy message.

Over the years, I've explored a wide variety of musical styles, including "angry white rap" (I Want My Bailout Money), "Al Yankovic" style comedy music (Dumb and Lazy), children's songs (Just Label It), spiritually-uplifting music (Revolution of the Heart) and trip-hop (Heaven Can Wait).

Since I hadn't attempted a 70's-style pop beat yet, I wanted to try that with "Just Want You to Know My Name." Next, I'm working on a Country Western style song, which looks to be the most challenging one yet. (Singing in a Country Western style is no easy task, but I do already have most of the chorus nailed, and it sounds great!)

I'm actually thinking of crowdsourcing the lyrics for the rest of the Country Western song, making it a group project created by Natural News readers. So watch for that announcement soon...
