Mad science: In the name of 'geoengineering,' delusional scientists may destroy human civilization

(NaturalNews) The farcical concept of man-made "global warming" is still not dead, and apparently neither are the deranged methods of dealing with this made-up crisis that some members of the scientific community are still coming up with. New reports out of the U.K. highlight some of the drastic measures being suggested by devoted climate change apologists these days, which include blasting toxic particles into the atmosphere in order to reflect sunlight back into space, for instance, and intentionally altering weather patterns so as to tinker with local ecologies and somehow induce a mass cooling effect.

These and other outrageous interventions are collectively known as "geoengineering," and many experts say they could result in catastrophic damage to life on this planet. Others, still hypnotized by the globalist rhetoric of climate change poster children like Al Gore, believe they may be the only way to stop glacial ice from melting and flooding the planet. In either case, nobody can deny that the topic itself is suddenly gaining mainstream attention, which means those who were formerly denigrated as crazy "conspiracy theorists" for even suggesting that geoengineering might be a reality are finally being proven right.

A recent investigative report by the U.K.'s The Independent outlines the now-admitted agenda of the geoengineering cabal, which as usual involves tampering with nature in an attempt to "fix" it. The Independent's Memphis Barker addresses this concept accurately, opening his article with the words "Let's play God," referring to all those special scientists out there who arrogantly think they know better than nature itself, and want to recreate it. In this case, their suggested redesigns of nature are being held over the heads of the global populace almost as a threat -- if your country does not cut carbon emissions, then we will have to block out the sun!

It reads like some sort of science fiction novel, but intentionally altering weather patterns and other natural processes is exactly what geoengineers have waiting in the wings if their demands are not met. Though these scientists pose their ideas as a last-ditch, no-other-choice method of thwarting what they see as catastrophic global warming in the near future, many of these interventionist concepts are believed by some to already be taking place, including things like weather modification and so-called "chemtrail" sprayings, which involve dousing the earth's upper atmosphere with tiny metallic particles.

"Geoengineering technologies are the stuff of Hollywood disaster movies," writes Barker for The Independent. "Researchers have suggested sending a giant glass sunshade into space to reflect light; the eruption of artificial volcanoes, or spraying of sulphate aerosols into the stratosphere; dissolving mountains and putting remains in the sea; and, least dramatically, perhaps, filing [sic] the ocean with iron filings to stimulate algae blooms."

Truth be told, geoengineering has been taking place for decades

At first glance, all this talk about geoengineering might seem hypothetical, as in something that could happen in the future. But the truth of the matter is that geoengineering has been taking place covertly for decades, as evidenced by numerous government reports and historical admissions. It is a known fact, for instance, that the U.S. military seeded clouds above the Ho Chi Minh Trail in Vietnam back in the 1960s during the Vietnam War, which resulted in artificial rainstorms and monsoons.

Even earlier than this, during the 1940s, the U.K.'s Ministry of Defense reportedly used biological weapons on its people, according to a report by The Guardian published back in 2002. This report highlights how the U.K. government, over the course of some 40 years, performed chemical weapons experiments on British folks under the guise of "weather and air pollution" research. The truth was later admitted in declassified government documents.

More recently, http://www.monkeypuppet.net revealed that "atmospheric aerosols," aka chemtrails, were already being injected into the skies by "field campaigns," which are presumably still taking place.

A similar report issued the same year for the U.K.'s House of Commons was even more open about this ongoing geoengineering conspiracy. Entitled "The Regulation of Geoengineering," the report openly admits that technologies to inject sulphate aerosols into the stratosphere to "mimic the cooling effect caused by large volcanic eruptions" already exist, and are already being used.

"[S]ome -- albeit very small scale -- geoengineering testing is already underway," admits the report.

And just last year we reported that Swedish Green Party leader Pernilla Hagberg had come forward to publicly admit that chemtrails are real, and that the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency and the U.S. National Security Agency are behind them.

Geoengineering could spell the end of humanity

Worse than the fact that geoengineering is already a reality is the fact that nobody really knows how it will affect the planet. Sending up giant glass screens or masses of aerosol particles into the earth's stratosphere to intentionally block out the sun is sure to cause other problems, such as blocking the natural ultraviolet (UV) rays needed by humans to produce vitamin D, for instance. This, of course, is just one example among many.

"Spraying large amounts of sulphate aerosols into the stratosphere would, for example, blur the presence of the sun's disc," adds Barker about the detriments of geoengineering. "Rainfall patterns could also go haywire, the ozone layer break up. Dump iron filings into the sea and you might well kill off swathes of marine life."
