Alternative Medicine Used by 38 Percent of U.S. Adults, Reveals Government SurveyBy Mike Adams, December 11, 2008 | Key concepts: Alternative medicine, Medical myths and Health care The results of a large U.S. government survey reveal that 38 percent of U.S. adults now use natural and "alternative" medicine to protect their health. More than 32,000 adults were surveyed in the study, which shows that acupuncture, herbal remedies and nutritional therapies are now mainstream in American culture.Because, of course, taking nutritional supplements and herbs is so much more dangerous than poisoning your body with toxic chemotherapy and radiation procedures. Yes, indeed: Vitamins might just kill you, but statin drugs and psychiatric drugs are so safe that they should be prescribed to everyone! Or at least that's what conventional drug pushers want you to believe. The truth is that nobody who's informed on the subject is even using the term "alternative medicine" anymore. It's no longer alternative. It's mainstream. It's natural. Protecting your body with Mother Nature's medicine is the most natural thing in the world. (Poisoning your body with chemotherapy, on the other hand, is unnatural and harmful. That's why chemo patients don't live very long.) The pharmaceutical approach to medicine is unnatural. It's often barbaric (chemotherapy) and usually based on scientific fraud (off-label prescribing, junk science studies, bribery, corruption, etc.). The only reason conventional medicine even stands a chance in the marketplace today is because it is protected by an FDA-enforced monopoly that shuts down competing health products and therapies. In an honest marketplace, if consumers had access to all the relevant information about the risks and benefits of natural therapies vs. pharmaceutical therapies, virtually no one would choose pharmaceuticals! The industry simply cannot compete on a level playing ground, so they cheat and lie, enforcing their monopolistic practices through federal agencies like the FDA and FTC, arresting natural medicine practitioners and running them out of the country. They bribe journalists, pay off psychiatrists, control the disease non-profit groups and determine the agendas of med schools. And they own the media through their hundreds of millions of dollars in advertising that greatly exaggerates the benefits of their drugs while minimizing their risks. That's the only reason conventional medicine is used at all these days: Because consumers aren't given any other choice! Insurance companies won't cover natural medicine. State medical boards will destroy the career of any doctor that recommends natural medicine. The FDA and AMA routinely discredit natural medicine by quoting fraudulent studies on natural medicine, and the FDA maintains outright censorship that prevents natural medicine manufacturers from informing their customers about the truthful benefits of using their products. And despite this suffocating oppression, censorship and tyranny, the industry is so successful that 38 percent of U.S. adults are using it anyway! In other words, people want natural medicine. They're tired of being harmed, killed and bankrupted by Big Pharma / FDA collusion that merely protects drug company profits at the expense of public health. They're tired of being used, abused and exploited by rich corporations that put profits ahead of patients. And they're tired of being treated like guinea pigs, having experimental medicines forced upon them through mandatory vaccination policies and other "gunpoint medicine" initiatives. The People want health freedom! And they want natural medicine. They want real FDA reform. They want the drug companies to be punished for killing so many people. The people want to be free to choose the natural health products and modalities that they want, not ones that are dictated to them by a federal agency run by unindicted white-collar criminals. Natural medicine is here to stay. The pharmaceutical medicine fraud, on the other hand, is on the way out. The People can only be kept misinformed and suppressed for so long. Eventually the truth gets out. And the truth is that drugs are dangerous, while Mother Nature's medicine is safe, effective and very, very affordable. Take your vitamins, folks. And you won't need pharmaceuticals. The pharmaceutical industry is already beginning to implode. Layoffs are underway. The mergers will begin in 2009. Advertising limits will be put in place. FDA reform may be imminent. The era of Big Pharma domination over modern medicine is drawing to a close, and in its place we can create a new system of medicine based on keeping people healthy rather than keeping people sick.
