Psych Drug Maker Paid Massachusetts General Hospital to Build Child Psychiatry Research Center, Push Psych DrugsBy Mike Adams, November 26, 2008 | Key concepts: Psychiatric drugs, Drug companies and Hospitals It's the latest financial scandal involving Big Pharma's under-the-table pushing of psychiatric drugs, and this time, a Massachusetts hospital is apparently on the take.Massachusetts General Hospital took millions of dollars from Johnson & Johnson, makers of Risperdal, a psychotropic drug used to alter the brains of children. In an apparent return the favor, the hospital stated it would "move forward the commercial goals of J&J," which is about as blatant an admission of guilt as anyone should need to arrest these conspirators for bribery and fraud. Biederman, in fact, was the drug boss in charge of the child psychiatry research center. He's the main reason the diagnosis of childhood "bi-polar disorder" skyrocketed by 4000% between 1994 and 2003. Previously-secret emails made public in current court battles reveal that under the leadership of Biederman, the child psychiatry center acted to "generate and disseminate data supporting the use [of Risperdal in children]." In other words, the center would serve as a secret lab through which data could be generated to put even more children on those same drugs. It's no coincidence that the FDA went on to approve Risperdal in children in 2007 (but the drug had already been used on millions of children even before it was approved for such a use). Oh, and by the way, guess who's now investigating all this to see if there was any wrongdoing? The hospital itself! Yep, the very organization that accepted money from J&J is now going to investigate itself to see if it did anything wrong! What's unfolding here are details of a massive medical conspiracy; a plot to initiate the mass drugging of our children while raking in obscene pharmaceutical profits. Sadly, this plot still hasn't been stopped. The chemical holocaust continues, and every day that psychiatrists are allowed to drug our nation's children is another day of mounting casualties for a lost generation. What we are witnessing here is nothing less than an orchestrated chemical atrocity against our own children and grandchildren, and it's all being done with the full approval of the Bush Administration, the FDA and the entire system of medicine that ridiculously claims to "first do no harm."
