During an interview with Trump's former Office of Management and Budget (OMB) Director Russ Vought, Carlson said that the Biden regime has been working on a plan of leaving the incoming Trump administration in the middle of global warfare, calling it the most evil thing he has ever seen in his life.
"If you doubt how serious the opposition is to the public, not just to Trump, but to the majority of the country that voted for him – they're trying to leave him with World War III on the way out," Carlson said.
Carlson noted that he can't imagine a more desperate or evil thing for Biden to do than leave the incoming administration with a war. "A lame-duck president trying to start a war with the world's largest nuclear power, Russia. What do you make of that?" Carlson asked Vought.
Recently, Russia has lambasted the United States for lifting the restrictions on the use of U.S.-developed long-range missiles. Last week, Ukraine launched an Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) into Russian territory. Putin has repeatedly stated that such a move would mean the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is at war with Russia.
"It's incredibly insidious, and then add to the fact that he can't put two sentences together and he is largely not in control of his own government," Vought said referring to Biden.
"You have almost an unelected president with individuals behind the scenes doing this," he continued, further asserting "It doesn't surprise me, though. I mean, these are the same people that have weaponized the Department of Justice and the lawfare."
He further cited a colleague named Jeff Clark, who the government has been trying to disbar because of the "care he showed on behalf of the president [Trump] in dealing with voter integrity and election fraud after 2020."
The former OMB chief further alleged that the system has thrown everything at critics who have been condemning their decisions.
"You're seeing that with Tulsi [Gabbard], you're seeing that with Matt Gaetz," he pointed out, adding "Why is all of this stuff being thrown at him slanderously?"
Gabbard is Trump's appointee to be the Director of National Intelligence but is being criticized for being briefly on the Transportation Security Administration's "secret terror watch list." Meanwhile, Gaetz recently withdrew from being considered for Trump's U.S. attorney general amid scrutiny over sex trafficking allegations.
Donald Trump Jr. has also expressed his disgust with Biden's military-industrial complex as its recent aid to Ukraine only instigates "World War III" before his father takes office in January.
"The Military Industrial Complex seems to want to make sure they get World War 3 going before my father has a chance to create peace and save lives," Trump Jr. posted on X. "Gotta lock in those $Trillions. Life be damned!!! Imbeciles!"
In line with Biden's decision to permit the Ukrainian military to use the U.S.-made ATACMS in the Kursk region, Ukraine signaled that it would take advantage of the new stock of weapons within days after months of pleading for permission to use the American missiles amid crushing setbacks on the battlefield.
The president-elect vowed to end the war during his campaign. "As President Trump has said on the campaign trail, he is the only person who can bring both sides together to negotiate peace, and work towards ending the war and stopping the killing," Trump's communications director Steven Cheung told reporters.
