Since the start of the Ukraine proxy war, this cabal has been working behind the scenes under the cover of darkness to prolong the conflict with Russia "at all costs." Apparently, the deep state needs the Ukraine-Russia war to continue for the purpose of protecting its interests.
Known as Project Alchemy, the secret cabal was convened under the watch of the British Ministry of Defense and is overseen by Charlie Stickland, a high-ranking major general in the UK.
The Grayzone conducted an extensive investigation into Project Alchemy, discovering that the group is involved in all sorts of "highly aggressive schemes." These include cyberattacks, "discreet operations," and outright terrorism.
Project Alchemy was inspired by Operation Gladio, a Cold War-era, pan-European CIA and MI6 "stay-behind" terror army of fascists that worked in a similar hidden fashion to push its own deep state agenda.
"Complementing its calls for clandestine special forces-style attacks on Russian territory, Project Alchemy proposed an aggressive propaganda blitzkrieg, under the bland banner of 'information operations,'" writes The Grayzone's Kit Klarenberg.
"In order to manage Western public, which was likely to turn against a long war if its economic costs grew too steep, the cabal's members whipped up a menu of malign attacks on disruptive media outlets through a campaign of legal harassment."

One of those media outlets, we now know, is The Grayzone, which has been publishing plenty of hard-hitting investigative pieces as of late exposing secret operations like Project Alchemy that are invisible to the general public.
It turns out that the same guy who plotted to destroy London-based celebrity client journalist Paul Mason was also nominated to direct Project Alchemy's information warfare campaign. His name is Amil Khan, and he is a veteran psychological warfare operative who was previously exposed by The Grayzone for running all sorts of propaganda campaigns, including via YouTube "influencers" who were paid to push regime change in Syria and Ethiopia.
"Khan’s involvement in Project Alchemy suggests his crusade against this outlet was approved at the highest levels of the UK's national security state," Klarenberg adds.
"Underlining London's obsession with maintaining control of the Ukraine proxy war's narrative, The Grayzone was earmarked for destruction just days after Russian troops crossed into Ukrainian territory."
The leaked internal discussions that have emerged show that Project Alchemy's members openly fantasized about the downfall of the Russian government after a long and grueling war with Ukraine. At the same time, they also worried that their plans might backfire and that Russia could gain the upper hand in an instant, shocking the West.
A Feb. 27, 2022, "grand strategy paper" sent by Project Alchemy to John Bew, Boris Johnson's then-chief foreign policy advisor, expressed concerns about the emerging BRICS alliance, which seems to be growing stronger by the day. BRICS represents the most formidable threat right now to NATO world dominance.
That paper urged British leadership to "prepare for SWIFT II," the original SWIFT referring to the U.S.-controlled financial transfer system that is "going to be destroyed" by the West's anti-Russia sanctions, "slowly, but inevitably."
What we are witnessing, in other words, are two warring factions that want control over the world: NATO versus BRICS. The former is what we are all used to living with right now, and the latter would seem to represent a coming new world order where global dominance shifts from West to East.
