According to newly leaked files, top UK military figures were behind each of these major escalations in the Russia-Ukraine war. This military cabal, which includes intelligence veterans, exists for the purpose of extending the Ukraine proxy war "at all costs" for as long as possible.
Hatched in the immediate aftermath of Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Project Alchemy, as the military cabal is officially called, was formed to stop peace talks and stoke the fires of war in order "to keep Ukraine fighting." Project Alchemy's stated purpose was to impose "strategic dilemmas, costs, and frictions upon Russia."
This hidden force, which is part of what is more widely known as the deep state, is behaving like a hidden hand to control how Great Britain responds to and handles the continued fighting between Ukraine and Russia. In short, the goal is to "engineer a long, grinding war through covert operations," though The Grayzone says there are valid questions that have emerged as to the legality of Project Alchemy.
The Grayzone reports that "every conceivable field of warfare, from cyber attacks to 'discreet operations' to outright terrorism" are in Project Alchemy's wheelhouse.
"The secret cell even put forward a plan to 'aggressively pursue' and 'dismantle' independent media outlets – including The Grayzone – through an aggressive campaign of legal harassment and online censorship, so they 'would be forced to close,'" the media outlet reports.
"The incendiary blueprints were fed to the highest levels of the British state and national security structure, where they were apparently well-received."

Project Alchemy wants WWIII between Russia and the West
Believe it or not, there are plenty of people in this world who love war – so much so, in fact, that they continue to sabotage any efforts to broker peace between Ukraine and Russia, or between Israel and its neighbors.
To be fair, sometimes peace is simply not possible – and perhaps that would be the case here regardless of Project Alchemy's existence. At the same time, why would anyone not want to at least try to forge peace instead of more war?
Those involved with Project Alchemy fully admit that at best, their tactics border the line of legality. At worst, their whole operation is patently illegal and needs to be dismantled to help stem the tide of death and destruction it continues to unleash.
Project Alchemy's backers and promoters have said that London should be "prepared to creatively use the law" to achieve its goals, as well as erase "legal restrictions on UK deniable ops" against Russia.
Had Project Alchemy not orchestrated the bombing of the Kerch Bridge, Russia never would have responded by attacking Ukraine's energy infrastructure, further escalating the war. Project Alchemy also secretly trained Ukrainian forces in how to assassinate, sabotage, and otherwise conduct terror missions behind enemy lines.
Soon after being elected as the new British premier, Keir Starmer appears to have come under the influence of Project Alchemy, eagerly embracing the role of "wartime prime minister" and pledging to keep the fighting between Ukraine and Russia going for "as long as it takes."
