The way things are in the U.S. right now, it feels like the public has been the subject of intensive gaslighting for the last nine years.
The minute President-elect Donald Trump announced his candidacy for president in New York City in 2015, the media-political complex focused on turning him and his supporters into targets.
Mainstream media has also worked to portray Trump, his associates and his supporters into a modern-day version of the Third Reich. To do this, the media cherry-picked his statements, aired them without context and used them to paint him as another Adolf Hitler.
Additionally, Trump's political opposition used those cherry-picked statements against him, even though they have been debunked, and pushed them as the truth.
Some recent examples include Liz Cheney, a disgraced former congresswoman and RINO (Republican in name only) who turned from the number three Republican in the White House to a rabid anti-Trump zealot.
At a rally before the election, Trump was talking about Cheney’s reputation as a "radical war hawk." He suggested that Cheney she would feel differently "when the guns are trained on her face."
"You know they're all war hawks when they’re sitting in Washington in a nice building saying, oh gee, well let’s send 10,000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy," added Trump.
Mainstream media and anti-Trump Democrats took Trump’s words and twisted them, with the media now saying that Trump was suggesting that Cheney should face a firing squad. But listening to what he really said will reveal that Trump didn't say that.
Democrats also took advantage of these edited remarks and used them to suggest that Trump and his supporters are committing political violence. But in reality, out of the two presidential candidates, only Trump was the intended target of two assassination attempts.
In the past few weeks and despite those two assassination attempts, Kamala Harris, her vice presidential running mate Tim Walz and other leftist Democrats and mainstream media, continued to compare Trump to Hitler, who was behind the deaths of millions of Jews. Prior to the presidential election, the gaslighting reached its boiling point. The Democrats have been responsible for an overwhelming amount of the political violence in America over the past eight years. But despite proof to the contrary, the complicit mainstream media still portray Republicans as a threat to democracy.
Julie Kelly, an independent journalist, has worked tirelessly to cover the persecution of innocent participants in the Jan. 6, 2021, U.S. Capitol incident.
Kelly also discussed how Democrats and the mainstream media are conveniently suffering from "amnesia" about cases of election-related violence spurred on by "supporters of their own party." She also suggested that it was as if "American history ceased to exist in any meaningful way before that date; nothing that happened before January 6 matters."
But Kelly doesn't want America to forget. She posted about the pattern of violence committed by the radical left, which is ignored by the mainstream media.
These demonstrations and riots continued until Inauguration Day, added Kelly.
Students walked out of classes and protesters surrounded Trump properties in Chicago, New York and Washington D.C. There were also reports about violent clashes with police.
On Jan. 20, 2017, Trump's inauguration day, a violent riot was reported in Washington, D.C. Protesters with links to Antifa lit cars and set businesses on fire several blocks away from the U.S. Capitol, where inauguration ceremonies were taking place. At least 200 rioters were arrested and six officers were injured.
However, the DOJ dropped charges against all the 2017 rioters.
Kelly concluded that these incidents only "prove the opposite of what Democrats and the media want the public to believe: they, not Trump supporters, represent the real threat for 'political violence.'"
