Bible nutrition educator Mike Adams made this assertion during his 72nd sermon on the "Health Ranger Report," part of his 100 Sermons series for the Church of Natural Abundance. Basing his sermon on the Book of Revelation in the New Testament, he touched on the meteor impacts that happened on Earth and their similarity to cosmic events described in the book.
One such incident was the Chelyabinsk meteor that landed in Russia on Feb. 15, 2013. Descriptions of its impact mirrored those found in Revelation, he remarked.
"The explosion created a flash that was briefly brighter than the sun," according to the Planetary Society. The meteor also released "a shockwave that is estimated to have released the same amount of energy as 500 kilotons of TNT – around 30 times more energy than the atomic bomb detonated at Hiroshima."
Another incident was the Tunguska asteroid impact event in Russia's Siberia region that happened on June 30, 1908. Local eyewitnesses at the time reported seeing a fireball and hearing a huge explosion, which caused massive forest fires and trees being blown over for miles.
According to Adams, this describes air bursts of comet fragments that unleash a massive amount of fire. It is also reminiscent of the First Trumpet being blown, as indicated in the Book of Revelation.
"The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up." (Revelation 8:7)
The Bible nutrition noted that the Tunguska and Chelyabinsk meteor impacts were relatively small compared to what is coming. He added: "This is what will unleash these continental firestorms and high temperature shock waves that circle the planet. This is exactly what's described in Revelation and also this is what's described by NASA [the National Aeronautics and Space Administration]."
NASA concerned about defending Earth from cosmic impacts
According to Adams, NASA is concerned about defending Earth from cosmic impacts because human civilization is at risk from large asteroids, meteors or comets. But wiping out human civilization is what God intends when He blows the Seven Trumpets and pours out the Seven Bowls – events designed to unleash His wrath against mankind. The wickedness of mankind is leading it into destruction. All is not too late, however; the course can be changed if people and the church take a stand and stop surrendering to evil so that God would show mercy.
Adams said Earth is on the course of wickedness, war, death, destruction, sin and other horrible things. If humanity doesn't change course, then this cosmic extinction level event is coming – and "no one knows the day or hour" of its arrival.
