The report was drafted by lawmaker Peter Kotlar, a member of the National Council – Slovakia's unicameral parliament. Kotlar, an orthopedic surgeon and part of the ruling Slovak National Party, was appointed by Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico to head a commission examining the country's response and management of resources during the COVID-19 pandemic.
During an Oct. 2 press conference, Kotlar told media members that he had submitted the report to the government. The Defender reported, citing Slovak news agency TASR, that Kotlar's report will be released to the public once the country's government convenes.
"Unless the vaccination with mRNA products is stopped or at least their efficiency and safety is proven, which today I already know it won't, … my task is senseless," Kotlar said during the press briefing. He also denounced the pandemic itself as "an act of bioterrorism" with the intent to "jeopardize human health" and "test the naivete of the global population to follow orders subliminally."
"Let us at least make the right gesture together by stopping the administration of mRNA preparations until their effectiveness and safety have been proven," the lawmaker continued.
Kotlar also emphasized the importance of guarding Slovakia "from the centralization of power" under the globalist World Health Organization (WHO). His report recommended that Bratislava refuse to sign the 2023 International Health Regulations amendments and the Pandemic Treaty. German state-owned broadcaster Deutsche Welle reported that following the report's release, Slovakia announced that the government would stop cooperating with the WHO on COVID-19.
According to the Defender, both Kotlar's report and his comments during the Oct. 2 press conference played a role in the resignation of Slovak Health Minister Zuzana Dolinkova. She stepped down on Oct. 5, highlighting other factors such as the insufficient prioritization of health care. However, Dolinkova also zeroed in on Kotlar and his report.
The now-resigned health minister remarked: "How is it possible that, on the one hand, the minister has to tidy up a decade of unresolved issues in the health sector within 11 months – while on the other hand, they must deal with questions about whether or not there is a pandemic, whether vaccines alter our DNA or if we are being microchipped?"
"You cannot fight against unscientific facts. Kotlar's ideas continue to find support in the government coalition, while they have no support in the world's scientific circles."
Despite Dolinkova's comments, Kotlar's findings enjoyed the full support of Fico. "You all know that I personally have always been against vaccination with experimental vaccinations against COVID-19," he wrote in an address to the nation posted Oct. 5 on Facebook. The prime minister shared that he had "many acquaintances" who suffered vaccine injuries after getting injected with the COVID-19 vaccines. He also urged Kotlar to find out which Slovaks had benefited from the "unnecessary purchase of medical supplies and vaccines."
Meanwhile, Children's Health Defense CEO Mary Holland lauded the Slovak lawmaker's report and Bratislava's COVID-19 probe.
"Asking these questions should not be political or politicized. These are questions about how governments fulfilled or failed to fulfill their core obligations to protect citizens' lives, health and freedom," she told the Defender.
"People want to know why death rates, especially in healthy young people, have risen astronomically. They want to know why children are having heart attacks, they want to know where the turbo cancers came from. A serious COVID-19 inquiry will illuminate these questions; the Slovak people and everyone else deserve these answers."
