Gyawali said anti-Kamala posts are “automatically demoted” which means their reach is restricted and the content is not seen by the users’ friends or the public. "Say your uncle in Ohio said something about Kamala Harris is unfit to be a president because she doesn't have a child, that kind of sh*t is automatically demoted,” he said.
When a user is shadow banned on Facebook, they are not notified. Instead, Facebook secretly restricts the post, so that the user’s friends and other contacts cannot see it in their news feeds or engage with its content. He explained that the shadow banned user would then see a decline in their post engagement and impressions, therefore prompting them not to post content like that again. Shadow banning often leads to self-censorship. When conservative Facebook users aren’t allowed to express their political viewpoints online and engage with their friends, they stop interacting and posting content that is important to them.
Furthermore, Gyawali explained that Meta has an “Integrity Team” which is responsible for controlling content through “civic classifiers.” This “Integrity Team” is anything but, because there is no integrity in censoring political viewpoints you disagree with.
Gyawali also revealed Meta’s very own specialized Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) team, which was setup in April of 2024. “There is a SWAT team that's already set up since April… just to think about all the scenarios of how the platform could be abused," Gyawali said.
Meanwhile, Facebook’s engineers are the ones abusing the platform, censoring users and destroying democracy to promote a candidate who was selected by super delegates and elite donors. Kamala Harris was not elected through a formal primary process based on the will of the people. Now, Kamala's comrades are propping her up, using technology to censor any discussion about important topics that affect the future of the United States and its standing in the world.
When Gyawali was asked about Meta’s ability to influence the outcome of the election, Gyawali confirmed with a “Yes” while nodding in approval at the company’s ability to sway political outcomes using technology that suppresses and deceives the American public.
When asked if Mark Zuckerberg, Co-Founder and CEO and Meta, supports Meta’s political influence and agenda to help the Democratic Party, Gyawali answered, “100%.”
Meta's communications director, Andy Stone, responded to the claims, downplaying Gyawali's remarks as an attempt to impress his date. "If it is referring to Meta’s Elections Operation Center, that, too, is something we have been public about for years," Stone stated, clarifying that the center aims to combat "disinformation" and respond to user preferences for less political content. In other words, Meta is open about their plans to demote users who spread “disinformation.” Of course, “disinformation” in this context is really information that exposes the Democratic Party’s reckless agenda.
This revelation comes on the heels of Zuckerberg's admission that Facebook had censored 'COVID misinformation' at the request of the Biden administration. In a letter to Congress, Zuckerberg acknowledged the company's response to government pressure, stating that the White House had repeatedly sought to censor certain COVID-19 content.
The implications of Gyawali’s comments, coupled with Meta's history of censorship, have sparked significant debate about the transparency of social media algorithms and their role in interfering with elections. Donald Trump previously wrote that there will be criminal charges for Zuckerberg if he conspires with Democrats to interfere with the 2024 election.
