He outlined this in an Aug. 28 piece for American Thinker, noting that the MSM isn't merely "biased" when it comes to its political preferences. Laad continued: "The members of the media don't prefer the Democrats, they are Democrats. They must be seen as a department within the party whose job is to glorify everything the party does and denigrate anyone who stands against it."
"Those who claim to cover the news must stop referring to themselves as the media – because the media, by its very definition, is supposed to be a channel that transmits, i.e. depicts the occurrences as accurately as possible."
Laad recounted the legendary political commentator Rush Limbaugh (1951-2021), who frequently ran montages of utterances from media "experts" following an event. These montages revealed that the opinions of these experts, alongside their choice of buzzwords, "were always identical" even though their organizations had different names.
"If this had occurred just once or twice, it could be called a coincidence. But the fact that it happened regularly proves that the media was, is, and will always follow orders from a single Democrat spinmeister," Laad pointed out.
He cited the Democratic Party's usage of the word "weird" as one example. It was used to describe the Trump campaign, with the party's MSM mouthpieces repeating the term. But according to Laad, the term "weird" is more applicable to the Democrats given their propensity for hosting "topless transvestites" on the White House lawn. MSM lauded Joe Biden until after his June debate with Trump
The freelance journalist cited another example of this bias, with how the Democrat-controlled MSM covered President Joe Biden. According to Laad, those who regularly follow the media could find that Biden was described as "sharp, agile and detail-oriented" from the time he sat in office in January 2021 until June 27, 2024.
But starting June 28 until July 20, he was declared senile and cognitively impaired. It was only after Biden announced his withdrawal from the presidential race on July 21 that the MSM returned to its positive coverage of the incumbent, calling him capable and selfless.
"Biden was 'elected' despite being non compos mentis (not of sound mind). During his 'presidency,' he looked dazed, confused and listless. But he did manage to win the [Democratic] primary with roughly 15 million votes," Laad remarked, stressing that Biden is unfit to be president if he is unfit to campaign.
"During these three periods, people will find there is no consistency among the expressions from the media. Much worse is they don't care about how they sound or appear like a PR agency hired to promote one product and then move to the next one."
According to Laad, the MSM seldom mentions any of the serious issues the nation is suffering due to the "maladministration" of Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris – the latter now the Democratic presidential nominee. If the MSM does talk about it, they would do either of these three things: blame circumstance, call it unavoidable or blame President Donald Trump, a favorite tactic.
