Nine IDF soldiers from a prison unit called Force 100 at the Sde Teiman detention camp in Israel were arrested for gang-raping a Palestinian man with a sharp object back in late July, as one example. And from what we know, the incident is one of many that have occurred over the past 10 months.

Reports indicate that at least 53 Palestinian prisoners have died in Israeli detention. Most of these deaths are believed to have occurred as a result of torture or denial of access to needed medical care. Since Israel is the country responsible, there have been no investigations or arrests made for any of those.
Consider the fact in light of all this that Israel has proclaimed its military to be the "most moral army in the world." Israel Defense Forces also claims to use only precision attack methods that minimize civilian casualties. Why, then, are we hearing about rapes and murders of Palestinians taking place inside Israeli prisons?
For the past 10 months, Israel has openly used starvation as a weapon of war against the roughly 2.3 million people who used to live in Gaza. Israel also demolished all of Gaza's hospitals, schools and around 70 percent of all residential homes.
More than 40,000 Palestinians have died at the hands of Israel since the start of the war. Another 21,000 children are reported to be missing. This and more is why Israel faces a genocide trial at the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the highest court in the world.
Despite all this, Israel continues to receive limitless aid from the United States and its other allies that seem to be turning a blind eye to crimes against humanity because to speak out against them constitutes "antisemitism," according to Israel's most vehement supporters.
It would seem as though Israel routinely gets special privileges and treatment from much of the world due to its status as God's chosen people. In many ways, Israeli society has decided that Palestinians are sub-humans who are unworthy of being treated with dignity and humanity anyway, so who cares if they end up tortured or dead?
Some Israeli media outlets are starting to report testimonies from whistleblowers on the inside who have had enough of all the depravity. These whistleblowers are speaking out at great risk to themselves, but they are doing so on behalf of Palestinian victims of "appalling acts" of torture, sexual violence and other atrocities.
No matter what really happened on October 7, it does not excuse Israel's outsized response that shows little to no regard for non-Israeli human life. Forcing both men and women to stripe nude while having their genitals beaten, or while having sharp objects forced into their bodies, is not okay, and yet this is what Israeli soldiers continue to do to their captives.
The situation is especially horrific at Sde Teiman, which prompted Israel's high court to demand that officials explain why they feel they should be allowed to act well outside the bounds of Israeli law with their flagrant mistreatment of Palestinian prisoners.
"Israelis – no better than Nazis – and Hamas are both evil, that is true," one commenter wrote. "The injustices and evil they have inflicted on each other is astounding."
"Netanyahu is an evil man, a criminal, and a murderer. He and his collaborators – top generals, etc. – should be arrested and tried just like the Nazis were at Nuremberg."
