Business Insider journalist attempted to dox right-wing X user Raw Egg Nationalist by pressuring farm shop to reveal his identity

In an effort to expose the true identity of a conservative X user known as Raw Egg Nationalist, a journalist for Business Insider pressured a UK farm shop to provide her with a list of customers who regularly purchase vast quantities of eggs and other produce. He believes it was part of a parallel construction effort to expose his identity using illegal means and make it seem like the information was obtained legally.

The journalist in question, Katherine Long, works for the publication’s “fast investigations team.” As part of her quest to dox the X user, she emailed a farm shop identifying herself and writing: “I have been interested for some time in an influential blogger named Raw Egg Nationalist. Though he is from the UK, he is increasingly prominent here in the US, where he has affiliations with a well-funded think tank, The Claremont Institute, and has been featured in a Fox News documentary.”

She goes on to explain that he promotes eating raw eggs and milk in an “ethos of vigorous white, male nationalism” based on “traditional values.”

She notes that some photos posted by Raw Egg Nationalist on social media indicate that he shops at their store and goes on to ask if anyone on staff was aware of someone buying dozens of eggs per week, noting that he “claims” he eats upwards of ten raw eggs per day. She promised that if they shared the buyer’s name with her, she would not state how she obtained the information.

Sharing the letter on X, Raw Egg Nationalist pointed out that Long was “attempting to solicit the owner to break the law,” referring to the UK’s Serious Crime Act of 2007 Sections 44 to 46. The act states that anyone who encourages or helps in committing an offense is also committing a criminal offense.

Raw Egg Nationalist obtained the letter from the farm shop itself, whose owner told him that the email prompted him to look up Raw Egg Nationalist and listen to some of his podcasts, at which point he realized exactly who he was. However, he said he would never share his details with anyone and told him not to worry.

Raw Egg Nationalist was doxed shortly after journalist emailed farm shop

Two weeks later, however, he was doxed in an expose by the far-left activist group Hope Not Hate, an organization that had been pursuing him for some time for his advocacy of “right-wing bodybuilding” and fondness for raw eggs.

He said that multiple people he spoke to about the doxing suggested that there was an intelligence connection and that someone had been clearly looking for information about him. He suspects Long may have simply been seeking a confirmation from the farm shop of something she already knew in pursuit of parallel construction. The fact that she interned with the State Department, is fluent in languages like Farsi, and has other qualifications that would indicate she may well be an intelligence contact in media seems to support this idea.

He is now using legal avenues to get to the bottom of the matter and find out how Hope Not Hate knew his identity, but he is convinced his doxing was part of a very deliberate agenda. He wrote: “Parallel construction is real, and it can be used to hide a multitude of sins. And Western governments have a lot to hide, not least of all their fear of the new popular right, and the lengths to which they’ll go to prevent it from growing and consolidating its power."

The Left has long been working with the media to dox anonymous conservative accounts online, such as Libs of TikTok and Bronze Age Pervert. It’s funny how, as the National Pulse points out, they’re all too happy when the identities of right-wing figures are revealed but vigorously defend the right to privacy of transgender people who wish to remain anonymous.
