Democrat top brass have quietly chosen someone else (Michelle Obama? Gavin Newsom? Who?) to nominate at the Democratic National Convention next month, insiders familiar with the situation say.
According to the Post, top Democrat power brokers intentionally set Biden up to show off his brain failures at the debate with Donald Trump so they could set up a "coup" to force him out of the race and replace him in the final hour.
"As calls for him to bow out mounted, Biden insisted he would continue, but party bigwigs threatened to invoke the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution," the Post report states, indicating that Democrats not only wanted Biden to quit the race, they also wanted him to resign from his current presidential term.

Is Nancy Pelosi responsible for "coup" against Biden?
Word through the grapevine is that fellow political fossil Nancy Pelosi spearheaded the plot, and that Biden is personally upset with her over it. Pelosi allegedly told Biden between drinks that he could either do things "the easy way or the hard way," pulling a page straight from mob mentality.
"She gave them three weeks of the easy way," Politico reported, citing a Democrat familiar with the private discussions that took place. "It was about to be the hard way."

There are rumblings that Democrat delegates at the convention will likewise be pushed to obey Pelosi or else face punishment. The replacement candidate sounds like it might be Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly, based on what is being reported. Some also still speculate that Michelle Obama will reemerge to potentially become the nominee.
The interesting thing about Kelly is that he is married to former Democrat Rep. Gabby Giffords who survived an assassination attempt in January of 2021. The intention of Democrats in putting up Kelly in light of this is that voters will empathize with him in much the same way that voters are empathizing with Trump for surviving his assassination attempt in Butler, Penn.
"Although Biden immediately endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate for president, the source said Democratic delegates will be strongly encouraged to instead back Arizona senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly for president at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago in August," the Post report continues.
So far, Barack Obama is refusing to endorse Kamala. He cryptically announced that the Democrat Party "will be navigating uncharted waters in the days ahead," suggesting more surprises in the days to come.
"It's absolutely amazing how many people live in denial," one commenter wrote about the saga. "No one votes, none matter, none count. It's all a show. Nothing changes. Things just get worse for the serfs while the oligarchy improves itself."
Others agreed, stating that it does not really matter who gets installed because it is all scripted anyway.
"The show goes on no matter what fool they parade," one said towards this end.
Another person agreed, adding much the same even about Trump by writing that "he won't save America" no matter how much some people want him to "make America great again."
