According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), crime rates nationwide have plunged to a 50-year low. Murders, rapes, robberies, thefts and property crimes are supposedly much less frequent than they were half a century ago – but is it true?
It turns out that left-wing cities, which is most of them, are no longer reporting crime to the FBI like they once did. As such, the data appears to suggest a safer and stronger America, which is anything but true.
The Crime Prevention Research Center (CPRC) found that almost 40 percent of local law enforcement agencies no longer transmit data to the national FBI database. This is how the Biden regime is getting away with lying about crime.
"In 2021, 37% of police departments stopped reporting crime data to the FBI (including large departments for Chicago, Los Angeles and New York), and for other jurisdictions, like Baltimore and Nashville, crimes are being underreported or undercounted," reported Red State's "Bonchie," citing CPRC data.
"This leaves a large gap; by 2021, the real crime data collected by the FBI represented only 63% of police departments overseeing just 65% of the population. When compared to pre-2021 data, the result is a questionable 'decline' in crime."

The truth of the matter is that America is arguably more dangerous than ever before, all things considered. Metropolitan areas continue to face rampant smash-and-grab incidents, as well as break-ins, robberies and all sorts of violence as the country descends into a depression.

Inflation is off the charts, this as wages stagnate. People are becoming more desperate, not more content, with their life situation, which in turn is fueling increased lawlessness.
Keep in mind, though, that many left-wing cities "defunded" their police departments after the George Floyd saga. Many crimes are no longer even considered crimes – that or the police are refusing to arrest and prosecute criminals anymore.
If law enforcement is no longer doing its job, then of course the data will seem to show that crime is on the decline. The truth, though, is that lawlessness abounds like perhaps never before, also having been institutionalized at the highest levels of government.
"Democrats plan to reduce crime in 3 easy steps:
1. Don't arrest criminals
2. Don't prosecute criminals
3. Don't report crime statistics," tweeted Cash Loren of The Cash Loren Show about how the scam works.
The FBI is also to blame for the deception as it changed the way it compiles and reports crime statistics. Major cities like New York City and Los Angeles have yet to convert to the new system, which means the data is skewed even further.
"The problem is that all the cities didn't stop sending arrest data in at the same time," an alleged former FBI agent wrote on X. "The problem has been getting worse and worse as mayors got tired of claiming crime was down and then being called liars by people pulling up the FBI reported crime. Their answer increasingly became to just stop reporting the crimes (and also there was some reclassifying of violent crimes as well, like calling an armed robbery a larceny)."
"Even the murder rates suffered from a data problem that's really not anyone's fault. Trauma care just keeps getting better and better and a whole lot of shooting victims who have died just a few years ago, now are saved."
