Leaked video call reveals Big Pharma’s RACIST hiring practices
01/04/2024 // Ava Grace // Views

A leaked video call has exposed Big Pharma's racist hiring practices that favor minorities over Whites for the world to see.

100 Percent Fed Up touched on the leaked Zoom call involving executives of pharmaceutical company Sanofi. Carole Huntsman, former senior vice president (VP) and U.S. country lead for the company, expounded on the company's discriminatory hiring practices in response to a question by Shane Nelson. The latter serves as Sanofi's business partner for diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

"One in five hires needs to be a Black employee. One in 10 has to be a [Hispanic] employee," said Huntsman, assuring Nelson that Sanofi has "met [its] goals every quarter" when it comes to DEI.

Bill Sibold, former executive VP and global head of specialty care for Sanofi, also noted that the company's goal is to "advance racial equity through public policy." He continued: "So, [to] talk about taking on racism, we believe that it is not just at the company level, but it has got to be changed systemically. This is an opportunity to do so, through this very concentrated business focus."

"These illegal moves continue to occur in corporate America," James O'Keefe III of the O'Keefe Media Group wrote on X. "Whatever happened to hiring employees based on talent or merit? It's not rocket science, and yet this agenda seems to be constantly pushed." (Related: The Berkeley Files: Faculty applicants were ranked on their support for DEI policies and practices.)

"The quotes given by [Huntsman] seem to violate Title VII of the Civil Right Act. [She] is saying that you must take national origin into account, as part of the hiring process."

O'Keefe ultimately concluded: "As we dwell deeper, the broader narrative has become clear. These DEI initiatives, these illegal violations of the Civil Rights Act, are becoming quite common inside corporate America."

Blackrock a major force behind DEI

According to 100 Percent Fed Up, multinational investment firm BlackRock is one of the major players, if not the main player, behind DEI.

"At BlackRock, we believe that DEI [is] critical to developing world-class talent and delivering for our clients in a rapidly changing world," the firm's website said. It also boasted how the New York-based BlackRock "has met or exceeded its goals of increasing overall [Hispanic] and Black representation in the U.S. by 30 percent, well before the target date of 2024."

In March 2021, the investment firm launched its ambitious global DEI strategy. This also set in motion a series of commitments to drive forward progress across several aspects:

  • Focusing on attracting, hiring, developing and retaining a diverse talent pipeline
  • Cultivating an inclusive and equitable work environment
  • Supporting clients whose investment choices and business partnership opportunities are related to DEI
  • Conducting philanthropic efforts and investing on undeserved communities to ensure their long-term success

However, 100 Percent Fed Up pointed out that DEI was merely a scheme to "help minorities" at the expense of White people. The site referenced several news reports that showed Whites as minorities themselves:

  • A 2012 report said most children younger than one year old are minorities
  • A 2015 report said for the first time, most American children under five years old aren't White
  • Two 2019 reports said less than half of children under 15 years of age are White, and that White students are now the minority in U.S. public schools
  • A 2021 report revealed that majority of all U.S. children have minority parents
