In a televised interview this week, Bagheri-Kani stated that Iran will completely annihilate Israel if it does not back off in attempting to destroy the Palestinian presence in the land Israel claims as its own.
"If the war expands [any further], we cannot say that Israel would lose, because nothing will remain of Israel to be described as loser or winner," Bagheri-Kani said, adding that the growing Palestinian resistance operation against Israel represents "an irreparable earthquake in the Zionist regime's military and security system."
The Israeli siege of Gaza was prompted by Operation al-Aqsa Storm, the official name given to the Hamas false flag attack in Israel that occurred on October 7, taking the lives of at least 1,500 Israeli military servicemembers and civilians.
So far, Israel's retaliation has resulted in more than 8,300 deaths in Gaza, "most of them women and children," according to Iranian media.

There wouldn't even be any conflict in the Middle East except for Americans' "unbridled support for the Zionists," Bagheri-Kani claims
Bagheri-Kani's statements were also prompted by news from the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance movement of Hamas claiming that Israeli tanks had advanced near the territory, resulting in a heavy clash and a forced retreat.
According to Hamas, Israeli tanks fled from the Gaza border following "fierce fighting." This, combined with Israel's "nonstop airstrikes on the frontlines" are "proof," according to Iranian media that "the Palestinian fighters have the upper hand in the battle."
If true, the tank retreat only further points to an Israeli "failure to perform a broad operation in Gaza" like it originally claimed would happen in the immediate aftermath of the October 7 attack.
Another thing Operation al-Aqsa Storm did, according to Bagheri-Kani, was trigger "an earthquake in the intellectual and strategic system of the United States-led Western world and in U.S. unilateralism."
"The Americans are [now] plagued by a strategic confusion and cannot guess the resistance's next move to make a decision accordingly," he stated.
American officials reportedly stated that they seek to prevent any further expansion of the conflict, this confirmed by Bagheri-Kani.
"However, [Americans] themselves are the main party responsible for continuation and expansion of the conflict through their unbridled support for the Zionists."
"Therefore, the main party responsible for the Zionists' crimes, after Zionists themselves, is Americans. They have said time and again that they stand by Israel without any limitations."
Since the October 7 attack, the U.S. has sent thousands of weapons consignments to Israel, as well as supplying ample political support through the vetoing of the United Nations Security Council resolutions that either hold Israel responsible for war crime atrocities or call for an immediate cessation of all aggression against Gaza.
It is important to remember that, more often than not, both sides of a "conflict" are funded and controlled by the very same people for their own personal gain.
"Look at any of these proxy wars that are engineered by distant powers: they go on and on and on," one commenter wrote towards this end. "First, one side is ahead, and then the other, and so it goes. This war will be no exception."
"It will last for years, and in the end, Israel and Palestine will both look like Falluja or Bakhmut or any other Middle Eastern war city. This is inevitable when billions of dollars of high explosives are detonated in a built-up area.
