This narrative feeds right into Israel's desire to go after Iran with bombs – or as one independent media outlet put it: "... that Iran may get dragged into what is rapidly emerging as the worst Middle-Eastern crisis in year, with various pro-Israeli hawks claiming that the Hamas attacks would have only occurred with explicit Iranian backing."
If Israel does end up attacking Iran as desired for many years now, then this same media outlet suggests that Americans "fill up the gas tank" right away because it will be World War III on our doorstep before you know it.
According to the WSJ, "Iranian security officials" are responsible for green-lighting the Hamas attacks at a meeting in Beirut, Lebanon, last month. This is according to senior members of both Hamas and Hezbollah, another Iran-backed militant group.
The same WSJ report says Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has been working with Hamas since last August to devise a plan to attack Israel by air, land, and sea incursions.

Officials from the government are telling a much different story than the WSJ, though. According to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, "we have not yet seen evidence that Iran directed or was behind this particular attack, but there is certainly a long relationship."
The Biden regime has a difficult situation on its hands now, especially with 2024 being an election year and gas prices at their highest level ever. The regime is desperate to vindicate Iran for its own reasons in order to get sanctions against Tehran lifted so more oil can flow into the United States before next fall.
Fake president Joe Biden's chances of reelection apart from a major fraud operation are next to nil if America's dire economic situation does not improve. So, whether Iran was involved or not in the recent Hamas attack is almost irrelevant from the perspective of how Biden's people have to frame this thing to maintain public support.
"We don't have any information at this time to corroborate this account," said another government official in denial of Iran's involvement in the Hamas attack.
"Whether or not Iran actually did help Hamas plan and execute the attack, and whether Mossad – the world's best intelligence agency – was really completely unaware of what was going on, is – for the time being – irrelevant," one independent media outlet reported.
"What matters is that the narrative is now being shaped so that the mainstream media will cast blame on Iran alongside Hamas, just as a U.S. aircraft carrier arrives in the Gulf to provide support to Israel."
"The geopolitical implications are staggering, but once again we repeat our advice from Saturday morning: fill up your gas tank now."
In the comments, someone added to the conversation that he, too, is simply shocked that Israeli intelligence somehow could not have known the attack was going to happen beforehand, seeing as how powerful and "all-seeing" it tends to be.
"Impossible for me to imagine how the most secure state on earth suffered a surprise attack from slow-moving paragliders and mopeds," this person wrote. "This was an inside job."
