Musk called his son a "communist" and slammed the prestigious and expensive Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica, California – which charges parents $50,000 per student annually – for brainwashing his child to despise the wealthy and "infecting him with the woke mind virus."
In an excerpt from the upcoming biography of the Twitter and Tesla CEO written by Walter Isaacson and published in the Wall Street Journal, Musk revealed that he was initially in favor of his child's gender transition, but things changed in April 2022 when Wilson severed all relations with him.
The biography of Musk also included that his rift with Vivian "pained him more than anything in his life since the infant death of his firstborn child Nevada," who died just 10 weeks old of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
"Unless the woke mind virus, which is fundamentally anti-science, anti-merit and anti-human in general, is stopped, civilization will never become multi-planetary," Musk told Isaacson. He also blamed "neo-Marxist" colleges for the rift between himself and his kid, once telling the FT in 2022 that Vivian refused to be a part of his life because of the takeover of elite institutions by left-wing academics.
Vivian, who has a twin brother named Griffin, reportedly came out as transgender via text to the wife of Musk's brother when she was 16.
Court filings revealed that Vivian no longer wishes to be related to Musk in any way. A Santa Monica judge issued a new birth certificate that reflected the changed name and gender. The ruling simply stated: "Xavier Alexander Musk to Vivian Jenna Wilson. The gender of the petitioner is changed from male to female."
Vivian got the surname from his mother and Musk's first wife, Justine Wilson.
Woke California school grooms children to go "Left"
Crossroads K-12 School was founded in 1971 as a secular school initially affiliated with St. Augustine By-the-Sea Episcopal Church. It was then "marketed" to have evolved into a "prestigious academy" for the next generation of Hollywood stars.
Its alumni include a slew of A-listers such as Zooey Deschanel, Jonah Hill, Jack Black, Kate Hudson and Gwyneth Paltrow. Jack Quaid, the son of actors Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid and himself a rising Hollywood star, also graduated from the school. LeBron James' sons, Bronny and Bryce, both also attended Crossroads before transferring to Sierra Canyon for that school's basketball program.
"We believe that the uniqueness of children is revealed in their very existence and that it is the School's responsibility to foster their innate sense of the mystery and joy of life," the school's statement of philosophy says. (Related: Transgender training is coming to your schools.)
