In an Aug. 30 video posted on Truth Social, he accused "left-wing lunatics" of this scheme to justify the return of lockdowns and other draconian COVID-19 mandates. These edicts, alongside the use of ballot drop boxes and mail-in ballots, were used to rig the 2020 elections in favor of incumbent President Joe Biden.
"The left-wing lunatics are trying very hard to bring back COVID-19 lockdowns and mandates, with all of their sudden fearmongering about the new variants that are coming," Trump said. "They want to restart the COVID-19 hysteria so they can justify more lockdowns, more censorship, more illegal drop boxes, more mail-in ballots and trillions of dollars in payoffs to their political allies heading into the 2024 election."
"They rigged the 2020 election, and now they're trying to do the same thing all over again by rigging the most important election in the history of our country – the 2024 election – even if it means trying to bring back COVID."
Trump also had a strong message for "every COVID tyrant who wants to take away our freedom" in his video.
"Don't even think about it. Hear these words: We will not comply. We will not shut down our schools; we will not accept your lockdowns; we will not abide by your mask mandates; and we will not tolerate your vaccine mandates."
The former president concluded his message by assuring his viewers: "They will fail because I will not let it happen."
Conservative commentators also agreed with the former president's remarks, noting the sharp rise of COVID-related reporting in recent weeks. Charlie Kirk, host of "The Charlie Kirk Show," was among them.
The founder of Turning Point USA alleged that there is a plot to push "COVID-ian tyranny" and "lockdown [Americans] again just in time for the [2024 presidential] election." This move, he added, would "facilitate the launch of a 'Marxist-type revolution.'"
Ron Paul: COVID fearmongering just in time for election season
Trump wasn't the only one who recognized the scheme. Former Rep. Ron Paul (R-KY) pointed out in an Aug. 29 op-ed that the COVID-19 fearmongering came just in time for election season.
"Just four and a half months since Biden declared an end to the COVID 'emergency,' the media is suddenly full of stories about the return of COVID. This time, a new 'variant' is being rolled out and the media, in collusion with Big Pharma and the fear-industrial complex, are churning out stories about how forced masking is making a comeback," he wrote.

The father of current Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) said health authorities "are desperately trying to revive the tyranny, insanity and utter irrationality of the two-year COVID scare," pretending that nobody remembers "how they destroyed society with their lockdowns, mask mandates, and vaccine mandates."
"Why are they coming back around for another round of Covid tyranny? Fear is a weapon to gain control. Last time around, they generated fear to radically change how America voted," the elder Paul continued. "Suddenly, everyone was mailed ballots. How closely were they checked? No one knew and no one dared ask. The people who did ask about the election are now facing jail terms."

I knew it was all a fake because everyone in the UK knows who Trump is. Most British people I spoke to used the term ‘the other guy’ because they were slow to remember the name Biden. They also have trouble remembering the pronoun oat ion. Sorry, my predictive text is no better 😂😂. They pronounced his name as rhyming with hidden 😂😂😂😂😂.
You would ALWAYS remember a top celebrity, a famous singer or your mother’s maiden name. British people find Biden just nothing special. Not newsworthy and no more important than a bum in LA infecting himself with fentanyl. I’d actually prefer the company of the bum because he would speak more clearly than Biden and have more exciting life experiences to tell me.

Yes, it is massive pre-election fear-mongering. It also does one more thing. It allows the government to cover up the excess death statistics and the soaring disabled people statistics by blaming it on this 'new' variant instead of the actual cause (which was the prior covid jab). People are dropping dead all over the place. Young people having heart attacks. All of it to be blamed on the new covid variant in a massive media blitz. This winter will likely be a winter of death for the previously vaccinated. The left needs their mail-in ballots.
