Jessica Konen filed a lawsuit last year against the Spreckels Union School District on behalf of her daughter Alicia, who was groomed to take on a new name and gender pronouns after "teachers" convinced the seventh grader that she is a transgender.
"Today's settlement is a clear message to schools: parents will not stand idly by as schools trample on their right to raise their children," said the Center for American Liberty, which represents Konen and her daughter.
CEO Harmeet Dhillon also commented on the victorious case, stating that at its core it is about "upholding the sacred bond between parents and their children."
"Parents have an inherent right to be involved in pivotal decisions concerning their children's lives," Dhillon said.
Under the terms of the agreement, Spreckels Union did not admit to do any wrong-doing.
Center for American Liberty is proud to announce a settlement in Konen v. Spreckels Union School District that resulted in a $100,000 payment by the school district to Jessica and Alicia for the violation of their rights.

According to the suit, Spreckels Union is operating under a "Parental Secrecy Policy" that effectively strips parents of their right to know whether or not their children are being groomed into a life of transgenderism or some other form of LGBTism.
Two "teachers" who headed up Buena Vista Middle School's "Equality Club" told 11-year-old Alicia that she is a transgender and pushed her to take on a "male identity." They also warned the young girl not to tell her family about it, to which she obeyed and hid the information from her mother.
Alicia was then given a "Gender Support Plan" that the two groomers drew up for her. That plan included a new name, male pronouns and a push for unisex bathroom use – and Konen was never told about any of it.
During the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19) "pandemic" when Alicia was forced to take classes at home through a remote learning platform, she gradually started to shed her transgender identity – because when she was not around the groomers, she naturally started reverting back to normal.
"If you choose not to fight for your children, then they will fight and take your children," Konen said in a statement. "Stand up, parents. It's your right to be able to parent your own children."
Dhillon added that he is simply "thrilled to have played a role in this landmark victory, which sends a clear message that parental rights must be respected."
"Jessica and Alicia's courage has inspired countless others to defend their rights against unwarranted intrusions," she said.
The settlement was delivered just one day after California Attorney General Rob Bonta sued the Chino Valley Unified School District in Southern California for requiring all public schools under its banner to inform parents about their children's gender transitions.
Bonta, who seems to be just as much of a child-grooming pervert as Newsom, called Chino Valley's decision a "forced outing policy."
This week, Protect Kids California announced the launch of a campaign to place three transgender-related initiatives on the November 2024 ballot in California, including a measure that would require parental notification for all LGBT and gender-transition issues that occur within the state's public schools.
