She detailed out this "government-sponsored, taxpayer-funded child trafficking" during her July 26 appearance on "Right Now with Ann Vandersteel" on Brighteon.TV. "The U.S. has become the middleman between people who are luring children from their homes. They are trafficking them and smuggling them to the U.S. border," Rodas told the program host.
"Once the children get to the border, they are taken into the care of HHS [Department of Health and Human Services] and then, sadly, delivered to sponsors throughout the U.S. – some of whom we now know are criminals, traffickers and members of transnational criminal organizations."
Rodas also recounted seeing Rep. Norma Torres (D-CA) at the Pomona Fairplex Emergency Intake Site in California. The congresswoman even had pictures with HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra, former Labor Secretary Hilda Solis and some staff members of the facility. According to Vandersteel, Torres is reportedly involved in the human trafficking happening in the country.
The former federal employee told Vandersteel that she was alarmed by the testimony of Department of Homeland Security whistleblower Aaron Stevenson. According to Stevenson, transnational criminal organizations like MS-13 and the 18th Street Gang were getting the children. Aside from the two mainly Hispanic street gangs, Russian operatives from Balkan crime syndicates were also receiving children from the intake sites.
Rodas herself had previously testified before Congress about the "sophisticated network" of child migrant smuggling. During the Brighteon.TV program, she blasted the appalling and unacceptable actions of Torres, Becerra and Solis visiting the intake site to process more than 8,300 children in less than six months – only to deliver them to a host of criminal sponsors. She pointed out that the basic purpose of government is to protect its citizens. Government leaders who fail to do this duty deserve an "F" grade, she added.
"We need leaders who are going to stand up for the safety of their nations all around the globe, and we need people here in the U.S. who are going to stand up for the freedoms of the people here," Rodas said. "If we are going to bring vulnerable children from other nations here, we must have people who are going to protect them and not send them to criminals and members of transnational criminal organizations."
The whistleblower also noted that if people understand how trafficking works, they will also understand the dangers of having open borders as it means more children are being trafficked.
"Why is that? That's because if our borders are wide open, they don't have to bring the children through the ports. Open borders mean that no one is screening the safety, and this is a major problem," she said. "And this is not a Republican issue or a Democrat issue. This is a humanitarian issue. This is a crisis and it can be solved – We just need to close the borders."
