A top advocate for the United States oil and gas industry is speaking out about the sinister plan, which would allow Biden to become a dictator under the guise of fighting climate change.
"They're leaning to that direction," said U.S. Oil and Gas Association president Tim Stewart about the plot. "If you grant the president's emergency powers to declare a climate emergency, it's just like covid."
Should such a declaration occur, Biden will immediately be granted "vast and unchecked authority to shut down everything from communications to infrastructure," Stewart added in a statement to Just the News.
Such infrastructure includes water and electricity, as well as bank accounts – meaning Biden could choose to freeze people's assets under a climate emergency declaration much like what Justin Trudeau did in Canada during the Trucker Convoy protests.

Recall that former President Donald Trump declared such an emergency in early 2020 for the Wuhan coronavirus (Covid-19). This resulted in America's borders being closed and vaccine mandates for federal government employees.
In the months and years that followed, many businesses, most of them small, collapsed and shut down while the country plunged into record unemployment and inflation that continues to this very day.
Now, the powers that be want Biden to do the same thing Trump did, this time unleashing even worse tyranny that is sure to collapse the U.S. entirely, leaving nothing behind but economic and human wreckage.
All of this is happening on the heels of a heat wave that climate fanatics claim is the worst ever, or something, even though it was admitted that those reporting such temperatures were using ground temperatures rather than air temperatures – ground temperatures are a lot hotter than the air, i.e., step on asphalt barefoot on a hot day and see for yourself.
Many people missed this reporting sleight-of-hand and simply assumed that the planet must be heating up to intolerable levels because people are still eating meat and driving gas-powered cars.
Oregon Rep. Earl Blummenauer, a Democrat, introduced legislation that would require Biden to declare a climate emergency whether he wants to or not. That legislation is currently being co-sponsored by 62 congressional Democrats.
The Guardian, a left-leaning news outlet based in the United Kingdom, also wants Biden to declare a climate emergency. Why, again, is the UK interested in what the U.S. does concerning the climate, we wonder?
According to the Congressional Research Service, presidential emergency powers "may be exercised in the event that the nation is threatened by crisis, exigency, or emergency circumstances," adding that these powers may be stated explicitly or implied by the Constitution.
"They can literally do exactly what they did in covid," Stewart warns about what is likely soon to come.
It appears as though Biden could declare a climate emergency since he has repeatedly stated, reading from his teleprompter and curated notes, that the U.S. and other countries are in the throes of a "climate crisis" – and Biden has even called it a climate emergency on several occasions.
The non-profit Center for Biological Diversity says that Biden under an emergency declaration could do the following:
• End all crude oil exports
• End all offshore oil and gas leasing
• Restrict U.S. fossil fuel exports and end hundreds of billions of dollars in overseas fossil fuel investments
• Dramatically accelerate a transition to so-called "clean" energy
