Peterson's offenses include retweeting Conservative Party of Canada leader Pierre Poilievre; criticizing Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau; debunking "climate change" models; objecting to "surgery on gender dysmorphic minors; and warning Canadians that it is "wrong for social service workers and police to threaten to apprehend the children of the Trucker Convoy protestors."
Calling his targeting an attempt at forced "re-education," Peterson promised on Twitter to provide further details as the situation unfolds. In essence, for engaging in "wrongspeak" on a number of relevant issues, Peterson has found himself in the crosshairs of Canada's medical establishment. Over a four-year period, Peterson says, the liberal mob filed around a dozen complaints against him for various statements he has made on social media that upset them. Many of these complainants "falsely claimed that they were or had been clients of mine," he says.
"About a dozen people from all over the world submitted complaints about my public statements on Twitter and Rogan over a four year period (out of the 15 million who follow me on social media) claiming that I had 'harmed' people (not them) with my views," Peterson tweeted.
"None of the complainants involved in the current action were clients of mine, past or present, or were even acquainted with any of my clients)," he added for clarification.
Even though many of the complaints were filed falsely, the College of Psychologists of Ontario accepted them anyway because the group appears hellbent on destroying Peterson's life and career – all because of his "offensive" speech.
"We are now in a situation in Canada under @JustinTrudeau where practicing professionals can have their livelihoods and public reputations threatened in a very serious manner for agreeing with the Official Opposition and criticizing major government figures," Peterson further tweeted.
"If I comply the terms of my re-education and my punishment will be announced publicly. I have already had the second most serious category of punishment levied against me and have been deemed at high risk to 're-offend.'"
What Peterson faces is, sadly, no longer all that shocking considering it is happening to many. Prominent figures receiving these threatening ultimatums from the establishment are becoming increasingly "more widespread," Peterson warns, because "SJW (social justice warrior types) have weaponized the domain of professional misconduct complaints and the Colleges themselves have become bastions of woke sensibility."
Similar tactics are also used throughout the Canadian regulatory apparatus of other fields such as law and health care. The establishment there routinely intimidates practitioners who give advice that is deemed to be "dangerously unreliable," meaning advice that goes against the grain of the establishment narrative.
"Canadians: your physicians, lawyers, psychologists and other professionals are now so intimidated by their commissar overlords that they fear to tell you the truth," Peterson warns. "This means that your care and legal counsel has been rendered dangerously unreliable."
Last year, the College of Psychologists of Ontario took similar action against Peterson after he tweeted "You're free to leave at any point" in response to McGill University medicine professor Roger Palfree's concerns about the planet supposedly being overpopulated.
