Melissa Fleming, United Nations undersecretary-general for global communications, made this admission during the World Economic Forum's (WEF) "Tackling Disinformation at the Sustainable Development Impact Meetings" held from Sept. 19 to 23. She "bragged" that the globalist-backed organization "owns the science" and called for that fact to be broadcast worldwide.
"We're becoming much more proactive," admitted Fleming. "We own the science and we think that the world should know it and the platforms themselves also do." (Related: "We own the science," brags UN representative at World Economic Forum.)
She explained that the UN partnered with Big Tech companies such as Google and Tiktok to scrub information that goes against the organization's narratives on climate change and the pandemic.
"For example, if you Google 'climate change,' you will, at the top of your search, you will get all kinds of UN resources. We started this partnership when we were shocked to see that when we Googled 'climate change,' we were getting incredibly distorted information right at the top."
Fleming also talked about the Team Halo initiative, which involved scientists and doctors being trained on the basics of the video-based social media platform. "We had TikTok working with us," she highlighted.
Moreover, Fleming also boasted about working with influencers to push these narratives. She explained that "influencers who were really keen, who have huge followings, but really keen to help carry messages that were going to serve their communities … were much more trusted than the UN telling them something from New York City headquarters."
Analysts worry that "fake news" reporting could proliferate by using the technocratic organizations on social media that can manipulate algorithms and censor content as well as "influencers," who may be biased or paid.
"The internet is a place for the people, like parks, libraries, museums and historic places. The globalist elite must be stopped in their mission to rob humanity of this valuable place," NewsPunch's writer Baxter Dmitry said.
With the UN's recent claim that they own the science, deep thinkers and logical ones can connect the dots as to who is funding the organization's "directing and coordinating authority on international health" – in the form of the World Health Organization (WHO). Major contributors to the WHO include Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF).
WEF Managing Director Adrian Monck, who moderated the meeting where Fleming spoke, described fake news network CNN as part of the political war strategy to "own the narrative." He said that CNN "is both an organization that's trying to make sense of the world and trying to establish the facts."
According to a 2021 report, the BMGF has made over $300 million worth of donations to fund media projects. The fake news network is among the top recipients, receiving $3.6 million. Other U.S. news outlets that received money from the foundation include NBC, NPR, PBS and the Atlantic.
BMGF money also went into the accounts of several British media outlets such as the BBC, the Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Financial Times. Qatari news broadcaster Al Jazeera and European publications like France's Le Monde, Germany's Der Spiegel and Spain's El Pais also received funding from the foundation.
Writing for the Sociable website, Tim Hinchliffe remarked that by partnering with tech companies to gaslight and influence public opinion and pouring millions of dollars into media outlets, the unelected globalists are once again showing their true colors for all people to see.
He wrote: "Owning the science leads to owning the narrative. Owning the narrative means controlling thought and speech. Controlling thought and speech mean the end of a free society. Welcome to the Great Reset."
