The three-year program is comprised entirely of an "education" that brainwashes students to "challenge and criticize power, oppression, capitalism, white supremacy, imperialism, colonialism, racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, cisheteropatriarchy, ableism, and xenophobia on the internal, interpersonal, institutional, and ideological levels," according to administrators.
A whopping 92 percent of students enrolled in the program are said to be "minorities," the suggestion being that there are very few white students. The problem, however, is that California is now majority non-white, so it is unclear which skin color is majority-present in the program.
According to the latest data, only 19 percent of social justice academy students are proficient in math, while only 21 percent are proficient in science. Barely more than half of all students are proficient in reading, we are told. The only thing these students are proficient in is learning how to reimagine their lives and their communities "outside of the master narrative," the school says. Part of this includes adopting values such as "radical healing" and "transformative solidarity."
Almost none of the students at the social justice academy know how to perform an algebra equation or read a book, but they definitely know how to hate white people and the society in which they live.
Their "specially designed curriculum" includes a focus on critical pedagogy, ethnic studies, gender studies, intersectionality, and social and emotional skill development – as well as the latest dogmas in social justice, of course.
All these things will come in handy for "protest" riots, Trump-hate events, and other social disruptions, but will they help these students make a living? It depends on how many social justice jobs can be created by the mob running these types of programs.
At the end of the three-year program, students are required to demonstrate that they have become real-life activists. They must develop and run social justice campaigns, which can be either local or global in scope.
When the program was first launched back in 2006, it was limited to just multiculturalism, which while still being code for anti-white genocide lacked the "holistic humanization and critical consciousness" that today's students need, the academy says on its website.
Despite dismal scores and proficiency in everything that actually matters, San Leandro High School has an above-average graduation rate. This suggests the school is passing and graduating students who do not deserve such an achievement.
"This school's mission is based entirely on critical race theory and critical gender theory," warns Erika Sanzi, director of outreach for Parents Defending Education.
"If a school wants to train activists for particular ideological causes like dismantling capitalism or challenging cisheteropatriarchy, they shouldn't be doing it on the public dime."
While San Leandro High School is open about its social justice academy, it would be remiss to assume that this type of thing is isolated to just one, or even a few, school(s) in California.
As we have been reporting, public schools all across the country, including in "red" areas like the Midwest and the South, are injecting this same type of brainwashing into their curriculum in order to churn out a new breed of graduates that does not know how to read, write or do arithmetic, but that fully knows how to change genders and hate white people.
