Absolute tyranny: Josh Sigurdson slams principal, police officer for removing 4-year-old kid from school for not wearing face mask

A four-year-old boy was removed from Theuerkauf Elementary School by police after he refused to wear a face mask.

"It is absolutely child abuse to be putting these masks on children not only because of upper respiratory issues, but because of all the microplastics that are being found in children's lungs," Josh Sigurdson, World Alternative Media CEO, commented on a video posted on his channel on Brighteon.com(Related: Scientists denounce flawed study pushing for the return of school mask mandates.)

Sigurdson noted that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention already acknowledged that the masks don't protect the public from the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19), a pandemic which he believes is a hoax.

"It's insanity and I feel so bad for these children. More than half of these kids' lives have been this absolute unrivaled insanity and mass formation psychosis," he said.

The boy's father Shawn, who did not want to provide his last name, took his unmasked son to school on August 18 and was able to record the principal demanding the child be removed from campus.

Michelle Williams, the school principal, was saying that the boy should wear his mask. "I want him here, but it is our district's policy that students have to wear a mask," she said.

When the boy ran past the principal and went straight to his classroom, Williams warned the father: "I cannot keep spending time on this same issue. I'm going to have you removed from campus if you don't leave at this time." She then called a police officer to the scene.

The cop explained that both sides have valid points. "For me, I just have to ensure at the campus as a whole that kids get their education."

Sigurdson said the policeman was trying to get around it. "But you're kicking a child out of a school for not wearing a mask and I don't care how people spin this. This is absolute tyranny."

The incident had a great impact on the kid. "He was inconsolable for about two hours," he told Fox News Digital about his son, who just started transitional kindergarten.

The child had never worn a face mask before and when he was asked to at routine hospital visits, he became intensely distressed, the father said.

Tracy Henderson, an attorney representing Shawn, told ABC7 News that the school broke the law as schools can only send sick children home. She also sent Williams a cease and desist letter, saying the boy has been subjected to bullying, discrimination and harassment by district employees over the mask policy.

"It is time to let parents decide what is best for their children in relation to COVID," the letter included.

The father claimed that he began communicating his concerns with Mountain View Whisman School District in the spring, well before the school opened, but the superintendent was unresponsive.

"They told me to force it on him," Shawn told DailyMail.com. "They are basically telling me to assault and batter my son." He added that they told him in essence that, if he was unhappy with the policy, he could delay the start of his education.

School district lifts mask mandate

Mountain View Whisman, where Theuerkauf Elementary School is located, was one of the few districts in the region with a mask mandate in place. After what happened, the school board held a meeting where they discussed and relaxed the mask policy. As of August 19, the district moved toward a "masks optional" policy for students.

Ayinde Rudolph, the school district's superintendent, said in a statement: "It's very unfortunate that this parent chose to video record one of our principals after she repeatedly asked him not to. This parent worked with an advocacy group outside Mountain View to create a professional video in order to nationally shame a public servant doing her job while maintaining a safe and orderly school. In all of our time in the pandemic, only one parent has resorted to these tactics taken from a national playbook on how to disrupt educational environments."

The district still requires masks in school buses and at large events.
