Ted Cruz slams new State Dept. ‘equity and diversity’ chief with proof her policies are racist, bigoted against white, straight males

You can tell that Barack Obama is really serving a third term via the dementia patient in the Oval Office, Joe Biden, by the left-wing extremists who have been appointed to positions of power within the federal government.

One of the first things Biden's Obama-linked handlers did was have him create a new 'diversity' office within the State Department, a position that was filled by Gina Abercrombie-Winstanley, a black woman who had been given instructions to implement policies aimed at ensuring that only certain 'approved' candidates would be selected to fill positions.

The policy did not take into account seniority, experience, proficiency or education, but rather skin color, gender, sex, and persons who don't espouse the 'wrong religion' (which would be Christians).

In other words, white male heterosexuals who believe in the Christian God need not apply -- at least, that's according to a State Dept. whistleblower who made it clear in an email memo obtained by Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) that is the result of policy directives implemented by Abercrombie-Winstanley, whose previous experience was as the U.S. Ambassador to Malta during Obama's second term, 2012-2016.

According to a report by The Blaze:

During a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing, Cruz confronted Abercrombie-Winstanley over an email from a senior State Department official that disclosed discriminatory hiring practices.

"The email says that hiring practices have developed inside the State Department so that 'certain candidates could not be hired because they have a disability; they are white men; they are straight, white men; they are not of the 'right religion,'" Cruz said. "Did you clear this guidance?"

"I've never seen that before," Abercrombie-Winstanley responded.

"So you didn’t know it had been sent," Cruz followed up.

"This is the first time I’m seeing it, sir," she clarified.

Cruz went on to note that the email represents a "mandate to discriminate" against certain people, which he then said is the direct result of Abercrombie-Winstanley's policies to make the department more "equitable."

Earlier, when he was leading to his questions, Cruz called those policies "brazen discrimination."

The report continued:

Later, Abercrombie-Winstanley claimed that she is "definite and certain" that discriminatory hiring policies are not in practice at the State Department. Cruz then appeared to seize on her admission. If such practices are not happening, then why is a diversity and inclusion office necessary?

"So you’re the chief diversity officer and you are arguing you are certain discrimination is not happening at the State Department, is that right? Is that what you’re testifying?" Cruz pressed. "It’s what you just said."

In response, the State Dept. official said that discriminatory hiring practices are unlawful while going on to explain that the nation's diplomatic agency is not "overtly" or "on purpose" violating the law and the U.S. Constitution. However, she did say that she believes there are discriminatory people who work at the State Dept.

"What would you say you do around here?" Cruz followed up in quoting a line from the comedy film "Office Space."

"What is your job if not to stop discrimination? And unfortunately, I believe that your job, in practice, is encouraging this discrimination," he declared.

WATCH:

In naming Abercrombie-Winstanley to her post in April 2021, Secretary of State Antony Blinkin essentially indicted the entire State Dept. as racist and bigoted:

As Secretary of State, my job is to ensure that our foreign policy delivers for the American people. To achieve that, we have to recruit and retain a workforce that truly reflects the American people.

Diversity and inclusion make our diplomatic team stronger, smarter, more creative, more innovative. Because we’re operating in a diverse world, and America’s diversity is a source of strength that few countries can match, when we fail to build a team that reflects America, it’s like we’re engaging the world with one arm tied behind our back.

And as President Biden has made clear, prioritizing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility is also a national security imperative.

We’ve got our work cut out for us. The State Department simply isn’t as diverse and inclusive as it needs to be.

Democrats are as destructive to our society as any foreign entity.
